Deep Blue Hot Springs Warrnambool reviews
32 Lovely relaxing escape - felt amazing afterwards!
Recommend booking time slot in advance. Towels and robes are totally worth it. They provide cups for water stations by the pools - easy to get dehydrated.
Several different pools offer different vibes and temperatures. Some children were there but they weren’t disruptive. Was a bit busy at the peak but it’s large enough that people can spread out.
Cold plunge pool was awesome.
Got my hair wet and did not dry it out, feels quite nice actually.
Change room/shower is nice and spacious.
Only suggestion that it would be nice if they had some soap/shampoo/conditioner in the showers for afterwards.
Worth the money.
Was a nice experience it did suck a little bit because there were lots of people it was a bit hard to relax. I suggest not to go during the holidays
This is a first class hot springs set up and very relaxing! Enjoyed it so much we did it twice!
They ask you to come 15 mins early only to make you sit in their cafe. Small facility, not as large as it looks on pictures.
I did Salt Therapy - reasonably priced as it is in a 6 seat room. (Actively Breathing salt in is essential to it working.) Some other ladies enjoyed a 2 hr session in the hot springs
My girlfriend and I were here today. After a multi-week caravan trip, it was so relaxing and amazing. Couldn't expect anything better! Great staff and great facilities. Thanks!
One suggestion: don't allow phones. It's an intimate place and not too comfy, when people around you take pictures and videos the whole time. I saw myself in at least two screens. When it's important for marketing and social media, why not create a designated photo spot?
Deep Blue Hot Springs in Warrnambool presents an oasis of tranquility and wellness. The rejuvenating thermal waters offer a therapeutic respite, harmonizing nature's gifts with modern amenities. The facility's layout and ambiance are thoughtfully crafted to induce relaxation, while the incorporation of spa services enhances the holistic experience. The integration of sustainable practices in design and operation is commendable, reflecting environmental mindfulness. Clearer information dissemination regarding the benefits of thermal springs could enhance visitor appreciation. Deep Blue Hot Springs stands as a haven for wellness seekers, embodying a seamless fusion of natural serenity and contemporary comfort for a truly revitalizing escape.
Was given a day spa voucher and salt room experience for my birthday. I was in twilight session. Highly recommend this session, when sky is clear you can star gaze. Loved every moment of it. Staff were very informative and helpful. I accidentally left my watch in one of the robes, once I remembered I went back to the facility and a lovely lady rummaged through the robes and found it. Thanks so much for that. One suggestion I'd like to make is to please put some lighting underwater near the steps so we can see getting in and out. Water becomes quite murky and hard to see.
Some people may worry like I did that it would be cold in winter. Absolutely not, once you're in, it is lovely getting a cool breeze on face. My favorite was the purple aromatherapy and magnesium pools.
Lovely hot and cold baths to relax and enjoy, specifically great to iron out muscle pain and tension. Fabulous results. I felt blissfully calm and relaxed all day.
Such a refreshing and relaxing place to drop by when you visit Warrnambool. Very clean locker room and bathroom. A locker costs around $6 and a must if you have belongings to bring with you. Lovely separate springs and cold pools that you can hop on and off. The downside I have experienced was the dome restaurant inside the vicinity, thought there was a menu but you can only have coffees, teas and some fruits and fridge sandwiches you can order. Wish there was more variety.
Loved it!
We easily booked our experience and completed our waiver online ahead of time. On arrival, check in was simple, we received our pre-booked towels, robes and waterproof locker fob.
The pools were beautiful and warm and so relaxing! Definitely would visit again!
My daughter and I came for treatment for our eczema, we found the experience pleasant and staff were great. We felt as if we were in Japan.
Highly recommend it to anyone with skin problems.
Woah.
These spas are amazing. I went today and it was raining during our trip which made it 10x better. You NEED to do a cold plunge between every hot dip. Which is so worth it. The entry and changing rooms are amazing, I feel like I walked into a palace.
Great set up, great staff, too many family with kids and chatter boxes in my sitting.
I came with an idea of relaxation and felt the opposite when dealing with kids and families who were non stop talking.
The most peaceful place after everyone was in the pools was actually the change rooms, not a whisper could be heard.
Again, the venue and staff were/are amazing and maybe it’s my expectations of relaxation that need to be lowered but I didn’t find it here during my session.
I was really excited when I booked this place however quite disappointed when I left.
Although there were 15 different hot spring sanctuaries (pools) to experience they were very underwhelming and over crowded.
They definitely need to cap the bookings as the facility is very small and most of the time we were waiting around for some of the pools to empty a bit so we could get in.
Also the change rooms and showers were unisex which made me and my family feel very uncomfortable and was not family friendly at all. Some not so modest people scarred my children for life roaming around casually naked.
I would have expected there to at least be separated change rooms and family change room options if the day spa allows families to attend with their children.
1 star for clean showers and the 2nd star is for a really handy swimsuit drying contraption which helped spin dry the wet clothes so they can dry quicker.
So good, a definitely worth a visit.
Clean, friendly, layout is small, not too many people was a great asset.
Pools of different temperature
Cafes not open bummer
Great Experience. Very relaxing. But you have to come at the right time. Nothing would be fun when there are a lot of people in the water.
Wonderful experience, really enjoyed wading around the different hot springs as well as the cold plunge pools. Nice staff and a really beautiful set-up. Costs a bit but I consider it money well spent for a blissful experience. Highly recommend if you're in Warrnambool. Will be back for sure if I'm in Warrnambool again.
Utter, utter bliss. Thoughtfully designed. Spotless changing rooms which are warm and spacious. I loved the spinner to dry your bathers.
The hot spring pools are fabulous. They range from 37° - 41°. There are a couple of cold pools for the brave! My favourite pool was the cave that had the open roof at the end. Sitting on the underwater ledge gazing at the stars, inhaling the fragrant steam.heaven!
And finally, the staff were great. The gentleman who came round at the end of the session to say there was 10 minutes to go was respectful and polite. The woman on the desk was kind and thoughtful and very helpful. We had a couple of nice laughs.
Do not hesitate to go. They have got this place 100% right. I am definitely coming back.
Lovely place to visit and relax. Its smaller than other hot springs I've visited so it feels crowded when there's lots of ppl but it's worth a visit. I recommend hiring a locker. Byo water bottle. Book in advance
