David's Master Pot 大味麻辣烫 (Swanston St - CBD) reviews
32Really bad service! Over charged though I had 30% voucher also on front desk guy also misbehaving with trainee girl! Owner must take action!
Best Mala stir fried and Mala tang! Satisfied customers service! Never miss the home made palm juices!
大味 我們又來啦! 太划算了! The fifth time in a month. Can't resist the fragrance of malatan. Of course the best in Melbourne!
DAVID’S MASTER POT, Swanston St Melbourne Was so excited to finally visit the newest addition to the @davidsmasterpot empire on Swanston Street having tried their @davidshotpot_mel before and seeing them on IG!
.
Their Sichuan Master Pot stores are set up in a DIY grab and build your own meal style which is so much fun! You can pick and choose what you want in your pot- noodles, fishballs, veggies etc, it then gets weighed and will be cooked to your liking in your hot pot style of choice.
.
There’s 5 main options in varying levels of heat, non spicy, dry and soup versions and the bonus is rice on the side is complimentary, as well as a free milk pudding dessert to end your meal
.
We ordered a range of food for dinner. The Signature Stir Fried Master Pot, the Spicy Traditional Malatang (my fave) and their latest Laksa Master Pot with Fish Head which is only unique to this one store! For sides we tried their brown sugar rice cakes and their fried pork belly. I loved these too.
.
The new store is beautifully decorated with vibrant artwork, lanterns, red pops of colour and a dragon dangling from the ceiling. It was an interactive and mega tasty experience! Thanks for having me @davidsmasterpot.

We got so carried away with the DIY pot.we had the biggest shock when our pot came to 2kg plus (it filled two massive bowls). Don’t recommend that unless you’re feeding a family. Minimums start from 400gm. Be mindful
Excellent service and the food hit me right on the spot, was really delicious. Will visit again. Highly recommended to try. Thanks!
The foods are very fresh, we got free rice and free dessert! Hot pot is so tasty and the staffs are so friendly️
Good eating environment and good services. Ordered a dry pot - taste was average. Also ordered their signature spicy intestine - good portion.
WOW! To think of all of the times I've walked past this place without knowing about everything waiting inside. It is rare to find truly amazing customer service but I was absolutely blown away by our server, Peter. He went above and beyond to make sure that our meal was as best as it could be, and I honestly could not be happier with the experience.
The restaurant has an amazing selection of items to put into your pot and is sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.
With the opening of its new store on Swanston Street, David is ready to take you on a spicy adventure with its famous malatang. Choose from the traditional spicy broth with different level of spiciness, or the pork bone broth. Both guaranteed to excite your taste buds with punchy and bold flavours! With a wide range of ingredients to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choice here. Don't forget to try the desserts too, the fried glutinous rice cake is a must.
Curry laksa with fish head reminds me of Malaysia’s taste, it’s worth to try and won’t be disappointed!
This is my favorite shop for malatang. It is like small hot pot with different soup base, they are so delicious. And service is amazing with free rice.
Recommend special sour soup which is not so spicy but delicious with a little bit sour in the broth
