32 The food is not fresh, and the more expensive food is deliberately placed in a position where it is not easy for customers to see it.
The dishes are not fresh, and the more expensive food is deliberately placed in a position that is not easy for customers to see!
Food was nice but so unfair that they charged me more for prawn minced that they haven’t written a price in it (just wrote it after They ask me to charged 6.8$) How do I know that this one have to pay more without anything that can let me know and they just write it down to show that this one to solve this issue
The Malatang broth (medium spicy) is so flavorful and addicting! The poke bone broth is good too but it's a little bland in comparison.
I love adding tons of tong ho and bok choy, some frozen meat rolls, and fresh noodles!
Recommended by a friend, the price is reasonable, free rice is provided, and the staff is friendly.

The location of the store is very convenient.
There are many kinds of food, you can try Chinese Malatang.
The staff’s service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. It’s worth visiting again.
Ordered the $18 deal, great value and soup broth amazing! Next time will probably choose ingredients for better value but we still had amazing flavour. Definately will be back.
Soup is great.
I came at dinner time the day before and had to wait for a table.
At lunch time, the number of diners is relatively small.
Avoid at all costs, the broth was bland and completely watered down, we ordered the MAX spicy level and it came out and the broth literally tasted as spicy as Coles chicken stock… did the chefs just forget to add any chilli?
The sauce station was literally non existent, the sesame sauce was completely watered down and tasted like nothing. Poor effort, don’t waste your money here. The last time I came, the hotpot was half decent, clearly there is a quality control problem in the kitchen leading to terrible consistency with each bowl they push out. Not good enough
Amazing stock, service, and a full selection of ingredients you can add into your pot! Highly recommended!
Best malatang I've had, by far. The food was affordable and fresh, with the right levels of spiciness. What could be improved on though, is the restocking of ingredients.
The food here is amazing and waiters are all nice and friendly to customers. The authentic Sichuanese taste is unforgettable.
My favourite hotpot so far! Love their stir-fry! I got level 4 and its pretty spicy but addictive. Defined will come back again!
It was amazing the broth was delicious and customer service is amazing hands down the best hotpot I’ve been too!
Hmmm I feel this place is just ok.
Probably best to use one pot for 2 people as it's pretty easy to underestimate how much you take using that big pot (we use 1 pot each and we spent close to $60 for 2 people). They also have some set menu as well as dishes that your can order.
Not sure if it wasn't our lucky day, but the soups weren't as tasty as other similar type restaurant.
Seatings are slightly cramped if there are many people dining in.
Delicious food and fabulous service. If you visit Melbourne, it would be a good place to spend you time.
David's master pot is one of my favorite places to have spicy pot all the time. They have variety of selections to choose from - Definitely worth to check it out.
The aesthetics is great and they’ve got a very wide range of ingredients for selection. Would defs recommend to anyone with a craving for delectable spicy hotpots!
Ordered a signature stir-fry for takeaway. It was way too salty we couldnt finished it. Definitely would not try again!
