Massive shout out to Kathy for the prompt response in getting a plumber to my house same day. It may have only been a little thing but it was big for us with a pipe small water leak. Thank you so much Kathy.

Plumber James is a nice guy and did his job professionally and quickly with efficiency. Also, he entertains some other questions.

I requested a quote for some issues related to a building report for our new home. This was a pretty time critical request. I received a request from them for the full building report, which I sent on the same day. They then went radio silent.

After not hearing from them for a few days, I called them to get an update. They said that it would take a few days to process my request. I didn’t really understand what needed processing, but accepted that it might take time.

I called again a week later, with no response. So I went to Western Leak Detection and plumbing. Had a plumber at my house the next day for a quote. And a few days later back to do the work.

One month after my initial request I got a call from McCarthy about my request. The guy on the phone was friendly, but the call was pretty useless.

After all the good feedback I had from McCarthy Group, I was very disappointed. Maybe all those referrals has meant that they are too busy to give their customers the same levels of service as they did in the past.

Would definitely recommend Sam from Western Leak Detection and Plumbing. He did a great job. And was very responsive. FYI, I am not affiliated with the company or Sam in any way.

I am so glad I came across McCarthy group, not only they responded to our query in timely manner, very professional and polite. Probably one of the best local tradie we’ve ever dealt with. Kathy is very professional to deal with, prompt and provided us with an easy and great solution to some minor touch ups after the service. The plumber Jake is also courteous, on time and friendly. Surely not the service you would want for roof plumbing and repairs. I specifically mentioned that it was a tiled roof and there was a leak but the person who attended was not sure how to fix that and just kept speaking with someone on phone and eventually mentioned he can't do any permanent or temporary fix and I need to speak with other tiles roof repair person. Not worth the money.

Paul offered an excellent service to instal a new toilet cistern however I found $231 labour cost for 1 hours work plus the markup the company put on the cistern from Bunnings to be rather excessive.

Excellent service, affordable price - what more could you ask for! Having dealt with cowboy tradies in our area, it is so refreshing to work with professionals you can actually trust to do a good job and not rip you off. A shout out to Tom who had to wrestle with our basins - thank you for doing such a great job! You've got us as customers for life.

The plumber, Tom, arrived on time. He was kind and helpful and explained why there was a problem, then what he would do to fix it. My kitchen sink pipe had been leaking and water was also backwashing into the sink from the dishwasher. He took the pipes apart, cleaned, flushed through, then reattached them. All is working very well now and I'm very happy with the work done.

The plumber, Josh, arrived right on time and was able to fix the problem quickly. Took less than an hour to set up and finish the job. Very professional and efficient service, highly recommend and will use again.
