This place bring back my memory of eating korean chinese food with my family in southkorea, wish I could visited this place more often.

Love the prawn fried rice there! My 5 year old boy loves it as well! Lovely staff and very attentive! Highly Recommend

Interesting “fusion” Korean with a Chinese twist. Korean version of “Ja Jain Mein”, the fried chicken needs to be a bit crispier but still very flavourful. Prices reasonable.

Good variety of dishes and all appropriately priced.the staff were very sweet and accommodating even when our party arrived close to closing time.nice ambience despite being a small place - very cosy.

Dropped in for a quick bite. The menu has pictures now which really helps, much better than just descriptions. Service was quick, food was good and tasty. Floor felt pretty oily though. Had the dish below, the 2 of us could not finish it. I have previously tried the Ja-Jang-Myeon which is the noodles in black bean sauce, totally recommend it.

DAOL MODERN, Mount Waverley. Reunited with one of the best JaJang Myeon and our Korean friends at @daolmodern in Melbourne’s East! We order the same thing every time but you can’t go wrong!

The lunch menu is very very affordable and great value! Our top picks are the black bean noodles and fried chicken! We ordered them in the $48 set which came with 2 noodles of your choice and the spicy boneless fried chicken - crispy & full of flavour SA GOOD! The Spicy seafood noodles Jjambbong (which were not spicy enough for me) had a lot of seafood and the JaJang noods is a must! (Just $11.90 on its own!) - I highly recommend this place Authentic & Delish.

Great food at a reasonable price. Go at a time when it's not overcrowded because their food quality seems to go down when they're busy.

Stumbled on this place by accident, and glad we went in to dine, near didn't.
But we would have lucked out, as this place is GOLD when it comes to Korean Food. And the size of the meals, HUGE. Great value for money. If only we had something like this back home. 5 Stars From Us.

I just found this little gem while googling for a korean restaurant around the area and immediately after visiting, it became one of my favourite korean place around the area. During my visit there, i have seen a lot of regular Korean eating at the place ordering Jajangmyeon, a very good sign indeed. Definitely a visit!

Best Tangsuyuk in Melbourne! Sause is very well balanced and not too sweet like other Korean restaurants so I loved it. Zzamgpong has great firey taste but noodle was like rubber that I did not like much. Friendly staff and clean. Will definitely come back for Tangsuyuk and try other foods too.

Pick this place becos if of its 4 stars rating. Food is average, service is average. Only 1 staff working, when I pay the girl told me I can’t use my entertainment book offer which is 25% off, I was in a rush and had no time to further negotiate with her. It’s up to $30 value not when I need to spend $30 gal!

Staff is so ignorant and dont know what service is. Very rude and not trained at all. Food was good but now i can see the quality dropped i dont know why maybe nee owners.
But if the still the old owners that there is a problem but at least fix your server specifically the girl and a fancy cut on her eyebrows.

짜장면, 짬뽕, 탕수육, 콩국수, 깐풍기 다 너무 맛있어요~ 다음엔 다른것도 먹어봐야겠습니다. 너무 많이 주셔서 남겨야되는 게 좀 슬프네요 ㅠㅠ
Outstanding food with committed staffs.
Jjam bong noodle, as it is a fusion Chinese food developed in Korea, reminds me of the authentic taste I had back in Korea. Pork tang su yuk is also a delicacy with adequate crunchiness and sweetness. The portions that are served is fairly large which is great for people with large appetites.

We have been here a few times now and have never had any issues
The meals come out quick and the staff are nice.

Went today and had an absolute blast at this establishment. I would highly reccomend this place for anyone looking for a good time. The ambience was on point of not too quite and loud which made me more comfortable being there. The food is on point and I think is charged accordingly, its not to expensive which is always a good thing. I will say that what made me feel worth coming back to this restuarant in the near future would definently be the service. As soon as I entered I was greeted with a warm smile by the young korean waiter. The waiters are very attentive and it didn't take much effort to place my order. Once again this is a great place, the waiters are nice and so is the food:)
