Price, really competitive. Was a little surprised to pay balance before booking date, but they came as promised and the all important installers were fantastic, thank you so much James and Eden. My door looks great, well like a garage door, 5 stars and both with great attitudes (i work with installers). As a company you are luck to have them. Thank you

Had my new door installed a couple of months ago and it works beautifully, the team was always great to deal with. There was a little delay due to suppliers but they kept me updated so nothing to complain about. They've also fixed the massive gate from my investment property's building and I'm really glad I'm no longer getting the constant emails from body corporate telling us it wasn't working properly - we chose them as other owners recommended and it seems like it really was the best choice. They may not be the cheapest but are certainly the experts in this area, really worth the investment.

Extremely happy is an understatement! I’m stoked at the service I received from Dandenong Garage Doors! The motor that I previously had was cactus. I called on Friday at 11.30am prepared that this job wouldn’t be done on the same day. Being Friday this is what I expected. However upon speaking to the receptionist, who put me on to a technician had my motor exchanged by 3.30pm. Sooooo happy! Which company does that on a Friday? Not to mention fuss free and no second phonecall or third and the technician calls to tell me he is on his way and 20 minutes later, BAM he arrives and changes the motor in 30 mins, which is a great replacement, not to mention he takes the old unit and gets rid of if for me. THATS SERVICE! Thank you guys and I definitely will recommend you guys to friends and family, as you were recommended to me by my son in law! (Who also was extremely happy) if I could give you more than 5 ’s I would have!

No thought or pride in work. Incorrectly installed Gate Doors obstructing the required swing in the driveway for the cars to fit into the Garage correctly. Contacted Samantha who said it was "unrepairable " and it was "unlikely" to achieve a swing giving me full access to the driveway. I also had to be charged "call out" "service" fee's for them to inspect. Unsure how install stupidity constitutes a "service". Local gate guy happy to inspect and will move the garage arms further to fix Dandenong Garage Doors incompetence and laziness.

Very happy with the service from Dandenong Garage Doors after getting repairs done to our tilt garage door which would not close. The phone staff were friendly and helpful. The technician Zak was very professional and explained what needed fixing, and made the door easier to use. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.

I called DGD to get a quote for a motor to be installed on my garage roller door. A week later no phone call. Call again to have Jaimie the receptionist say "oh there was a mix up, the technichian will call you next week".
Monday came, Peter called, made the appointment for Friday of that week. 45mins into the time slot I was given I get a call from Peter to say he would be running late. Eventually came, quoted and said I would receive the quote on Monday. I did receive the quote and have sent three emails to DGD to advise that I would like the job to go ahead. Haven't heard anything so I'll go with somebody else. No follow up, no job. I shall assume they don't want my money.

Poor experience, absolute daylight robbery, our money was STOLEN from us under false pretences. This is theft and I do not believe some of the other reviews here. What we expected was to pay for a repair that would work. Instead: months later we have a gate opener that STILL does not work despite us paying all the fees promptly in good faith. We were charged call out fees, labour on several occasions and fees for parts we didn't need, as it was later realised by Dandenong Garage Doors the new parts did not fix the problem which was misdiagnosed and we did not need the parts that were supplied and paid for. Instead of refunding the money for the parts that were unnecessarily installed, the offer was further visits and $$callout fees and more labour and parts (the real problem, which should have been picked up from the beginning) which there was "no guarantee" it would last and we waited months as it supposably was coming from overseas. After we followed up the matter with them on several occasions, as no one was getting back to us, and we still had a gate that was not working, Manager Rob now suggested we also pay for a brand new motor (the last one was 2 -3 years old) at a "special price" (after paying for and in addition to all the other repairs and parts that gave us no better result than what we started with ie a motor that did not work). We enquired elsewhere and the "special price" was no better price than other companies would give us. THE WORST OF IT was that when we tried to sort the manner in a civilised way, by e-mailing manager Rob.on TWO occasions, we NEVER received the courtesy of a reply.even again to a recent phone call. Highly questionable business practices Rob? You have stolen our money Rob and don't even have the decency to get back to us. I hope the same happens to you as a consumer. We will report this matter to consumer affairs Rob and take this matter further in any way necessary so that you do not continue to steal money from others.

We had a fantastic experience with Dandenong Garage Doors. We are extremely happy with our new garage door and new motor we had installed recently. They were referred to us by a family member who had a new door from here in 2019. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for new door.

Very happy with the great job in installing our garage roller door. Everything done on time and the installer carefully explained to us what was happening each step of the process.

One garage door motor replaced was very satisfied. Second garage door motor had lots of trouble booking it. Got quote from Wayne which was perfect. Jaime the office girl didn't follow up my calls like she promised a number of times to call me back. Very disappointed with her service. Outstanding service from Jake that finally came and installed a new motor. Office girls need to have better customer service service

Recently installed new garage motor at my mother house in box Hill north however had issue with leakage from rain water which causes motor not to work. Service Manager Peter called. Peter took the time to explain the issue and we identfy it was not the installer fault. Peter was a great help and friendly to deal with so i am confident that they do care about their customer after instalation.

This business is terrible. They attended my rental property and charged $275 to replace 2 garage door remotes. The same item is $8 each on ebay and when I called to complain they were not willing to speak to me. The standard line was:
-$100 call out fee for any job
-$75 for half hours work (this would take 2 mins to program the remotes)
-$50 each for an $8 remote.
Steer clear of this place. Poor service and poor value

Had 3 doors fitted prior to COVID. Had problem with door. Replacement doors were made and fitted as soon as COVID restrictions allowed. Problem was resolved without argument and rectified as quickly as COVID restrictions allowed. Problem was resolved professionally.

Very happy with the final product. I ordered a roller door to replace a gate. Price and time frames quoted were spot on! The company did reschedule our installation twice, which delayed installation by about a week, however the installer (Lucky) was fantastic and went above and beyond to provide a high-quality service. Would highly recommend him as an installer to anyone. Overall, very satisfied with this company and would use them again.
