Dan Murphy's Richmond reviews
39 Great store, plenty of choice and amazing service.
Monty is a very knowledgeable and dedicated young man. 10/10 would recommend
Brilliant store, mega range. Only lacking in the cold mixers section. Other than that. Great service and friendly staff.
I love this place. Variety of beverages Dan Murphy's Richmond from all over the world! Friendly staff, and cosy seats. If you prefer some old liquor then must visit Dan Murphy's Richmond. The place is absolutely amazing. Love it!
Staff are prompt to assist you but they hover otherwise good place good discounts and good products
Great selection and service. If u cant find what u looking for they can nearly always order in for u.
Probably the best bottle shop I've been to in Melbourne for total experience. Loves it. Staff with decent knowledge, they dont really explore boutique local wines like other places, but I have my fave places for these wines. Great value drinks when buying for a party.
Biggest and best Dans around. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Rooftop parking from rear entrance.
Irritating moody teenager service (which I noticed annoyed another customer also). As always, frustrating that all Dan Murphy's don't show how much their specials are below usual price and also don't show which items on the shelf are on special. Money saved but poor experience. I'd shop elsewhere if I had a similar option.
It's a fairly large liquor store with a big selection of alcohol at decent prices. Good if you're into that sort of thing.
Great selection and range of all your favourite alcoholic beverages. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. I regularly check the dan Murphy website or regular member specials email for the best deals. Click and collect is my favourite. This is my local bottlo
I bought a bottle of wine today at Dan Murphy's which unfortunately was "corked" and not drinkable. Matt and the team in Richmond replaced the bottle with minimal fuss. Excellent service at this store - I would definitely shop there again.
It's a large Dan Murphys and it is exactly what you would expect stock and price wise. The staff are really great though, just a bunch of friendly knowledgeable people. Even the security team seem happy and welcoming.
Full stock of great brands. Some prices are higher than a local bottle shop. Service could have been better if the sales person served with a smile on their face
It's Dan Murphys, larger store, so huge collection, and specialising various ranges of red and white wines and spirits, at most likely the best price.
A massive shop, even by Dan Murphy standards. They had a wine tasting bench setup, so you could sample some of the specials that week.
Huge Store with a Huge Selection! Now this store would tick all the boxes if you are into heavy drinking. It has a huge section for Wine and Beer, even the spirit section does not lack either. I cannot comment on anything specific as everyone has their own taste but be sure to check the store out. You won't be disappointed at all!
Great selection of alcohol, though lacking in some areas. I'm amazed they have been from the most remote regions of the world yet are incapable of selling Tasmanian Cascade Draught. It's such a beautiful beer, Cascade Premium Light and Boags cannot compare.
Sleazy Indian security guard with the bad emo haircut followed me around the whole store. Horrible customer experience. Will go to the local liquor shop next time.
Dan Murphy's is a Melbourne institution.
I have yet to ask for a specific alcoholic product, and not be either directed to it or shown its equivalent.
From really great and memorable, really expensive wines (but still that bit cheaper than pretty much everywhere else), to wines that are cheap and deliciously quaffable yet forgettable.
And multiple versions of the most obscure as well as the most common spirits and liqueurs.
And a huge range of shelved and cold local and imported beers.
And also very good service. I have to admit I would like one or two extra staff on duty for questions and recommendations, as sometimes you have to do a lengthy seek and find and then wait while they deal with another customer's questions. But when one finally gets to ask one's questions, they pretty much always get answered satisfactorily.
And they do deliveries! Yaahy!
I have to admit that ordering online then doing a pick up is my cheapest option. As if I go in and browse, then I end up making multiple impulse buys.
But I can prune my order ruthlessly online, and then avert my eyes when I go in for collection. Much cheaper that way.
But if you feel like browsing.well just go for it. But take a friend to help carry your bounty out to the car.
