Dan Murphy's Richmond

Id like to express my gratitude on the exceptional customer experience I had at your Richmond store 19/11 with store manager Cam.
He went above and beyond.
Richmond is my 100% go to!

A big Dan Murphy's store in Richmond with a Large variety of selections for your liking or a gift. Great & knowledgeable customer service is vital to me because without them I'll probably be lost in there for hours. After all, I do not know anything about alcohol for example what nice, what's not, which ones are in, which ones are not, most of all my personal preferences are the ones are Australian made.

Bought a single malt whisky that was from one of the locked shelves. When I got home I realised that the alarm cap was still on which was hugely disappointing. I’ve been to other Dan Murphy stores where if the bottle is behind the locked shelves, they don’t put the alarm cap as it seems unnecessary. But if you are going to do this, its up to your staff to make sure it’s removed before the customer leaves the store!

I came back the following day and wasted 30 mins to fix this. Upon arriving and explaining my situation, there was zero empathy or remorse in their handling of the situation. They offered $10 on my next whisky purchase, which is a small consolation but not what I really wanted.

Won’t be shopping here again. Majorly disappointed in their customer service.

Easy undercover parking off Palmer St, friendly staff easy to find what I was looking for, at a great price.

Friendly staff who are always willing to help and find the right product for the occasion. Great selection.

Great range of choice, including non-alcoholic products. Excellent service, and I love that they're dog friendly!

Awesome craft beer selection with great local options. They have this little feature display of local brewery Moon Dog. They also had an exclusive Kiwi hop XPA.

I popped into Dans last minute to buy some champagne glasses for my bridal party’s morning mimosas! Unfortunately there weren’t any available but after chatting to wonderful Ryan, he generously lent me his very own set of event champagne glasses for the weekend! Dropped them back the next week and he even gave me tips on where to go in Tasmania for our mini moon. So generous and kind, what an absolute legend!

Spacious and easy to use. Parking upstairs is fine, though the entrance at the top of the ramp is a bit of a disaster.

Good collection of liquors. Managed to get some flavoured sparkling wine that are hard to find in other liquor stores.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced with staff who clearly would rather be elsewhere. My fave moment was seeing a guy walk out with 7-8 bottles of spirits in his bag and when I pointed it out, the staff member was like "yeah we let him do that". Free alcohol at DMs Richmond y'all! Go steal!

Very good, wasn't too busy even though it's was Christmas Eve, staff were helpful and friendly.

I would have rated a negative score if they have one.

We arrived seven minutes earlier than the closing time, and the staff was so ridiculous and kicked us out as soon as we arrived.

Will never come here ever again.

Great helpful staff and nice range but there is a serious lack of parking.be careful to not get ticketed by parking on bridge rd at the wrong time.

Selection plus here of course. Good value, disappointing in that I checked website for stock, travelled across town only to be told "sorry out of stock of that item" Found a delicious replacement though

The staff at this location are sour and rude, with the exception of one or two. I am surprised to see reviews praising the customer service. Go the Kew store if you can.
