Dan Murphy's Chelsea Heights

As with all Dans’ outlets, selection is great and staff friendly except for a young male name unknown with arms and legs covered by tattoos, Mr Bad Attitude, always angry, aggressive and ready to start a brawl, maybe better suited to a bikies’ strip joint in King Street.

My son Benjamin has been getting deliverys for the last 4 years from Dan Murphys, Chelsea Heights, today at 11: 15 the driver African descendent brought the delivery the corona case of beer there was one broken, in 24x bottles, this isn't the first time they either don't bring the right orders or they tell us on the delivery there out of stock in the paper order if we receive one which most the time we don't horible business un professional period

Informative staff and a very wide selection of wine, beer etc at what seem to be reasonable prices.

Helpful staff, good stock levels and the checkout was prompt. Good store with great parking and service with a smile. Can't fault and the staff always box up my purchases well. Solid service here and I'm even asked multiple times as I walk around the store if I need help with choices. Now that's service from staff that are genuinely interested.

Awesome service here, the staff are great and always happy to help with any questions. Cheap prices. Heaps of parking available. And the best thing of all is free tastings. Top notch stuff aswell, not the cheapest stuff.

Store layout is okay. Product availability really good. Not many staff for the size of the store. Poorly staffed on weekends. Should pay staff more for what they have to do.

Wow.tried to ask a question and felt very ostracised.thought management had knowledge and advice to give in a friendly manner instead of NO IDEA.interesting. Very disappointing

Needed help with selecting wines and was assisted by a staff member who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Standard Dan Murphys store. 10 points for having ample cash registers staffed, was very busy but hardly anyone had to wait. Also having a greeter at the door was a nice touch.

Mistakenly ordered wrong box of wine online. Requested for swapping with correct one (same price). The staff was so rude. Just Felt like a criminal. Unacceptable customer service. Probably the wort one.

Convenient car park. Easy access. Helpful team members on hand to assist.
Well stocked with a good range of products.

I have two examples of tag price and register price being different.
They are expensive and by no way have competitive pricing regardless of the aforementioned breach of Victorian Trading Law.

Usually friendly service, one or two staff members can be quite rude an act as if you are an imposition, but most are very kind and helpful. Fairly good prices

They don’t beat any price, pls don’t go there you will waste your time. I have no idea why did they write on wall BEST PRICE GUARANTEE? Some bottles are cheap in liquorland and BWS. I short very bad experience in this Dan Murphy.

I was at my local Dan Murphy's store and i had found a cheaper price from a competitor and had shown the assistant the picture of the price and she bluntley refused to match it so much for we will match or beat any price.

And now they have removed my number 1 favourite I personally enjoy coming into winter on those really cold winter nights All saints The keep Golden cream I would be so grateful for it to return to the shelves of my local Dan Murphy's store at chelsea heights

Don't forget to wear a mask when in-store, the last thing I want is to die from Covid-19 unable to enjoy a alcoholic beverage of my choice. Of course with mask on you are able to pursue the aisles of wine, spirits and of course cider.yes there is beer. Until I happened to find myself in the GIN section I had no idea there so many brands and flavours available. Lemon, berries, herbs, spices, English, Aussie and more. Get your there and see for yourself!

Interesting why is a 1 litre bottle of alcohol more expensive by liquid content than 750ml bottle. Aussies are being stooged, thinking a 1 litre is cheaper alcohol!

Sadly the staff had to deal with an aggressive customer who physically assaulted a young girl, she was understandably distraught as were the other young staff involved. I was amazed at the poise and professionalism from this group! When I returned later in the day, I was amazed to see the young girl still working, still shaken. Either she is incredibly brave or mismanaged. I hope this crew get the care and accolades they deserve!

Nice selection of wines and Spirits, Mark knows alot about good scotches. And I like this Dan Murphy's, because it is more relaxed.
