Dairy Bell Malvern East

Ice cream was yummy, many ice cream flavours to choose from but a bit disappointing that you can't sample ice cream flavours.

Dairy Blend which is close by the old Dairy Bell factory site is a great replacement for those warm nights out when you want an ice cream.

Working here is a pleasure. Every day i come into work it is a joy everyone has smiles on their faces and genuinely want to be there. All the staff are so ready to learn and work and the managing team are so caring and considerate of our time. I remember i was asked to work late notice as someone had pulled out and i was payed double. I also enjoy how all the staff here feel like a family, if we ever need a question answered other than the boss we can call on each other for help even if we aren't working together. I recommend Dairy Blends to all my friends at school as a good first job or an awesome uni job as its easy but still gives you experience with customers and money as well as working in a very established environment. Overall love my job!

Love my waffle cone with two scoops and going to dairy bell/blends because it is local for us. But I've had enough of always getting inconsistent service, serving sizes and feel awkward to have to ask for more to be added. I'll go back if it improves but not sure it will last.

The staff member Georgia was so lovely and super helpful when trying to decide on a flavour. She was willing to answer all of my questions and was really kind. Best team member!

Ice Cream quality is fine, but they litre ice cream is a bit of a ripoff as the scoop size they gave was pathetic whereas they used to fill the container up proper.

This beautiful ice-cream shop was a great place to get an yummy ice cream and also some donuts and milkshakes where awesomely delicious and the serve was amazing very good workers also great place to get a birthday ice cream cake which was amazing.over this shops is great and you should stop there it was so yummy.

I do love this place. But can management please tell the girls that a blue heaven milkshake doesn't have blue heaven ice cream. I've had it made like that twice now and thrown it out. Didn't have the heart to tell them

The macadamia ice-cream was delicious and the girl with the curly hair and glasses was helpful and knowledgeable in helping us with our choice.

Not happy would not refer anyone to go there or order from them was very disappointing that they didn’t do my order properly and made it out to (well not much we can do about it) Yous didn’t get my order rite what wow ok never again

I used to be a regular here and am very familiar with the quality of the food. This is not the case anymore.
The food is crystallised and gooey. Not in anyway enjoyable. When ordering the sundae, it is jam packed and obscenely so. To the point where everything is muddled together and all the flavours get blended. Not an enjoyable experience when paying so much money.
The staff are kind, but clearly have not been managed adequately. I enquired as to what the flavours were made up of and they had no idea.
Once a wonderful staple in Melbourne. Now nothing but run down wannabe. Very sad that this has turned into a shadow of its former self.

They charged me full price for 1 litre icecream and it was half full i got ripped off and got no refund so i will no longer buy from them.

Ordered a banana split got melted iced cream and a tonne of chocolate sauce smh waste of money

If I could take one thing to the afterlife with me it would be those SUPERCONES! Delicious!

Poor customer feedback. On approx. 26th Nov. I purchased 2 tubs of 1 ltr. Natural Organic Vanilla ice cream with a marked use by date of 08/11/24 and no evidence of a batch number on either container. Then I drove straight home, no longer than 3 minutes max. I went to get the containers from my car and to place them into the freezer I noticed the floor of my car covered with melted ice cream. Not soft ice cream but runny milk like substance. We placed them in the freezer and rang the Chadstone Road shop to ask if it was safe to consume. They said yes which we did at a family dinner. The following week we tried the second tub and discovered that at the bottom of the tub it was a frozen block of milky ice, not ice cream so we washed the container and took it back to the shop and explained what happened. The staff member on duty was polite and said she would have to ring her “manager” which she did. She came back with a response that her"manager” stated because we didn’t bring the container back with the contents, they couldn’t help us (note at this stage I had not asked for a refund or a replacement, just to sort out the spoilt food product that my family had consumed) I don’t understand how one can return a leaking tub of ice cream which had already soiled my car carpet. Needless to say, I left the shop resolved to never again buy another Dairy Bell product and to inform all my friends of this terrible experience and to enquire with Food Safe Victoria why the product tubs did not have a batch identifier number on them and with Consumer Affairs Victoria as to my customer rights.
Dairy Bell, as a long time customer from your days at the corner shop on Belgrave Road Malvern East You have lost us forever.

Hellelujah, Dairy Bell Rum and Raisin is back! Tried some of the Dairy Blend flavours and not too keen. Love the original Dairy Bell ice cream. Hokey Pokey is very ordinary and would love to see the Dairy Bell Honey Crunch back. I certainly agree, the Malvern East store is very understaffed. Lovely young people working there under enormous pressure but so courteous and helpful considering.

Sadly gone a little downhill since rebranding from Dairy Bell. Quality and service both slightly worse than it used to be - not sure if I will come back

New branding, same old taste!

A classic ice-cream shop with a huge range of house made flavours and friendly staff. I've been going to Dairy Bell since I was a little kid, and the flavours and ice-creams still feel like a magical experience year later. It's no frills, simple well made icecream in 20+ flavours with some great sorbet options too.

Good ice cream, but never seem to have any consistency as to when they are actually open. Either that or the delivery apps are doing them dirty.

We went at 10: 15 and they said they were closed. Maybe write down 10: 15 as the closing time otherwise it’s misleading.
