Cupcake Central

I came here the other day with my 2 children and ordered 2 mini cupcakes and a coffee, which was really nice. However, me and my children didn't find the atmosphere of the store to be as pleasant as we though it would of been.

There were 2 people working on this day, 1 being a girl and the other being a male with a beard. They were both extremely friendly and nice, however the male was extremely loud at times, randomly scream like he got scared or something which really freaked my children out, my children didn't become to fond of him from that point on.

Overall, the sweets and coffee were amazing, but the atmosphere wasn't good, we will definitely be coming back but not when he is working as my children were uncomfortable.

Suppose to be a peaceful place to chill out with soft coffee music feel instead its a a disco tech venue. So loud.
Also the wall is filthy with fruit flies everywhere. Definitely will fail health and safety inspection.

The store is set up nicely and the staff are great but the prices? I was overcharged. The staff said $18. $28 was charged in my account which is for a box of 6 not 4. I should have paid cash.

In love with their new spring edition and what’s more they’re a vegan series! The double chocolate flavour was extraordinary and all the slices were remarkable (especially their brownie!)

I made a mistake and ordered cupcakes for my son’s birthday to pick up 1 week later than i thought. Got there tonight and the person behind the counter found my error in the order, phoned manager, transferred the order to tonight and sorted me out with cupcakes. Thanks so much, you have a great employee there, he saved the party!

Crunchy cornflake brownie = obsessed. With every bite I hear the song in my head: Slice of Heaven by Dave Dobbyn. This brownie will get your heart racing and happiness levels up. A must try! Cupcakes are always fresh with lots of flavour combos but somehow missing spunk and tasting plain jane. This brownie though, is exceptional!

I absolutely love this place! It’s my go to place anytime I need to get any anniversary/birthday gift sent to my friends and family. The cupcakes taste amazing and it’s always packaged so nicely

Cupcake Central’s cupcakes were uniquely pretty in design, but despite their appearances I found all their cupcake flavours to be quite basic and similar - the flavour of basic sugar. They were great for corporate events as you could order custom toppings, but for a non-occassion, best to look for cupcakes elsewhere.

Not the best cupcakes very over priced was hoping to get a good treat for Xmas very disappointed. Other wise delivery was on time.

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. I ordered and paid in store. When I came to pick up the cake I was told they hadn’t made it. That someone was supposed to call me to tell me they weren’t actually taking orders anymore. I was told I could get my money back and order somewhere else. The birthday party was in 1 hour so that wasn’t an option and nor should it be when I was expecting a cake I had prepurchased. I have always recommended Cupcake Central to others but now I tell everyone to avoid them. Their customer service is disgusting. I asked for a call from the manager to discuss my disapointment, once again no one followed up with me. From the reviews below it’s clear this business is headed for failure. Such a shame

I ordered a box of cupcakes today as a surprise for someone as today was a special day. Firstly, they rang the recipient not me about my order which ruined the surprise. They asked the recipient about my flavour choices as I apparently didn’t select any. Secondly when I called back, they didn’t mention about flavours.they stated the delivery service was at capacity and was unable to deliver. I read the terms and conditions and it does not state that if the delivery service is unable to courier my cupcakes they will cancel my order. Thirdly, when I called the customer service was horrible. They blamed me for not answering my call and said they will not deliver and nothing they can do. I stated that it was a very special day and they did not care and ended up finishing the call before I even stopped speaking. This is disgusting service and I wish I hadn’t ordered from here. Now it’s too late to order from anywhere else. The website should reflect if you cannot commit to same day delivery.

I miss how good the cupcakes were, so good I took a class with Sheryl a few years ago. Things have definitely changed, I've ordered a few times lately but they aren't the same anymore, I bake the exact red velvet cupcakes but when I need to get a variety of flavors for a crowd I'd hit up Cupcake Central. The first lot i noticed were a box of 12 regular sized cupcakes I took advantage of the $45 deal plus delivery. They looked good but after the first few bites I felt like i needed a drink, they were so crumbly and dry, almost stale, and the icing wasn't the same anymore it had a different texture and too sweet. All the flavors were, I served them to my guests and they scraped off the icing or after a few bites binned it, was such a waste. The second time I got baby cakes for a party, same thing happened too sweet and dry, it was embarrassing because someone at this party made her own cupcakes and they were so good and fresh, everyone ate those while my cupcake central ones were left for the flies to buzz around. For me that was the last time

Service is terrible. They don’t have any patience in taking time to explain to customers the cupcake flavours or their costs.

Don’t buy mini cupcakes from cupcake central as the boxes can’t hold the cupcakes properly and these people never learn from customer feedback.

I ordered cupcakes yesterday morning for a birthday. Delivery time was between 12pm -6pm. I was home all day due to Victorian lockdown restrictions and working from home. However my $40 worth of cupcakes was never delivered. I have contacted the team through the phone number provided on the website however when you call it says they are unable to take your call even though it’s within the business hours stated on the cupcake central website.

They then ask you to send an email to the email provided however no response. The online live chat is also unavailable during the business hours stated. It is impossible to get in contact with them to track your order or speak to customer service. They seem to be posting live on the Instagram page but still no response. I have spend $40 on cupcakes to be delivered and it was never received. They easily took my money but seem to be having a hard time getting back to me or responding which is really disappointing. If you are buying this for someone’s birthday to avoid disappointment and wasted money I suggest you either pick up in store or look elsewhere. I will probably get the auto generated excuse they called twice so I won’t get a refund. However that excuse won’t fly with me as I have cameras pointed at my front door and the street and no delivery driver ever came. I also was never contact via phone from the delivery driver.

Stolen $40.00 think twice before buying from here.

I ordered 12 cupcakes for my daughers place of work as a COVID pick me up. They were all so excited. They said they were delicious and that it made their day. Thanks so much Cupcake Central.xx

Got delivered a cupcake central box for my birthday and it was absolutely delicious. All different types of flavours and we were still eating it within a week. Package is beautiful and had great visuals on a card to identify the different cupcakes/flavours.

Delicious, beautiful and cute cupcakes that will put a smile on everyone's faces! I loved ordering this delivery service for my friends and family for special occasions, they all loved it and kept telling me how pretty they are and how moist and fresh the cupcakes are. The service is also fantastic as I had to call to reschedule an order due to lockdown. This place doesn't disappoint, highly recommend!

Amazing cakes and cookies. My daughter was overjoyed with her delivery. Everything looked and tasted awesome.

Their Mother’s Day special cupcakes are pretty looking, taste not bad. Also tried their cookies, pick the red velvet, it’s very sweet and loaded with sugar, only managed to have half of it. Very filling texture.
