Cunningham Irish Inn reviews
56Took my daughter and son in law and sat in a very pleasant garden atmosphere. They loved the food as did l. Well mannered staff was also a plus. Cool place, old fashioned pub, fantastic.
Over priced, rude staff.charged more than advertised and the order was wrong. Bad experience all round unfortunately.
My favourite place, even though I am not a local, they remember us and it feels like home. I'm a bush girl at heart and can't recommend them highly enough for great service, great food and consistency. Great country pub ambience. Love them!
Had a really nice lunch. Very friendly service, but busy so a bit short on staff. Otherwise great just sitting in the sun
Good service and excellent food with a great country pub atmosphere. Was visiting with some members of the Military Brotherhood MC and was made to feel very welcome and will be coming back again. Great stop if you are looking for a relaxing lunch or drink on a weekend.
Terrible meal. Chewy stake with half of it just being a lump of fat. My partner had a scrap bowl of salad, where we had to find where the salad part existed. I was certainly surprised about the meals. The madam behind the bar was kind enough to give $10 off the meal commenting that they had many complaints, yet still served the steaks because they had to, as the butcher was closed for the long weekend, didn't inspect the steaks and acknowledge we must have been still hungry. A shocking response and dishonest to sell a poor quality steak and suggest we would still be hungry. We certainly were leaving hungry and wasted a drive to Lilydale McDonalds to spend the token gesture $10 to buy a meal with better service and better food and reflect on such a bad experience to write this review.
Great food, great customer service and live entertainment on sundays, definitely my local go to.
Really good Parmas! Fresh and delicious. Kids meals also excellent and homemade. Can't wait to come back again.
Very local pub feel. Great service. Recommend booking as can get busy for dinner.
We had dinner at this beautiful place while touring the area. The place itself looks and feel like other local pubs. Bar sitting area, inside/outside sitting areas, a few beer taps and a large selection of alcohol. The menu had a good selection of starters and mains and the best, in our case, 2-3 Vegetarian options. The best part for us was the people. From the staff to the regular visitors, they all been super friendly and helpful. We have the vegi parma, the vegi arancini, the nachos and the greek salad. All come in large portion and while may not be a gourmet level, they all tasted well. We really had good time and hope to go there again.
Stopped in for a couple of frothys and the best souvlakis as always the chef there is amazing as locals for a few years we have tried all the watering holes cunninghams is the best by far best service best food koz and julsz
I had the Parma
Salad it's self was pretty bloody good, chips even better then the Parma it's self was superb.
Friendly atmosphere, quick service and fresh food, mate ya can't go wrong!
Will be back for sure
On 3rd Dec we waited 1 hr 25 min for our meals. We asked staff 3 times about our meals, Threy had no idea what to say.
Tables that ordered after us received their meals before us.
When the 7 meals finally turned up 6 plates had cold chips on them.
Very sad to see service and quality has declined.
Love this place, good, wholesome, home cooked food. Lovely people work there and they always make me feel welcome.
Good chicken breast meat in the parmas, not too much crumb, super generous sizes, reasonably priced, and great service and ambiance.
We went to Cunninghams for our “reward” lunch after a 30km bike ride.ordered 2 pints at the bar from a friendly and welcoming lady, who gave us our food menu and invited us to sit where we liked (it was 3pm on a beautiful sunny 23degree day). So we found a nice spot undercover out in the beer garden, and set about perusing the menu.oh the parmas! We knew we had have the parmas, since there was a whole page devoted to them. After thinking long and hard, we finally made our choices (Nachos parma for hubby? Irish parma for me). Food came quickly. Nachos parma was great, exactly what you think it would be.but for me, the Irish parma was a revelation.it was everything I wanted it to be - parma cooked perfectly (chicken was still juicy, crumb was crunchy), light smear of tomato, then creamy mash and melted cheese, and topped off with yummy gravy. It was awesome, and I enjoyed it so much I made sure to tell the staff! It was a very big plate of food, and I loved the parma so much, I barely got through 1/3 of the great chips that came with it. Highly recommend this pub! Also look out for their hilarious signs dotted around. This place is full of character, friendly staff and great food. Our meal was perfect. We were hot and tired from our ride, so our lovely lunch was just what we needed.
Fantastic old pub excellent food
excellent service, friendly helpful staff will definitely be back
Excellent food! Best in the valley. The staff are always friendly & welcoming. We love the Beautiful warm country atmosphere & Can’t recommend our beloved local enough.
The best pub in the town, awesome atmosphere, great welcoming, and such a wonderful staff. I've tried this place for the first time in my life, really enjoyed my time and pleased with the service, you guys are deserve more than 5 stars, thanks heaps for your service!
Great service by the lovely ladies. Amazing food too! My Parma was to die for Beautiful outdoor garden area for dining with friends and family.
Generally I never leave reviews but in this case it must be said. Made a booking for 20 - that was the easy part. Ordering of food was shocking, staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Coke was a terrible syrup pre-mix that tasted like 10 day old rum. Took well over 1.5 hours to get our meals. Was told by staff they only had a small kitchen & clearly they seemed understaffed. I’d hate to see how they operate on a busy day as there were only around 50 at the venue that day. The meals were then very so-so. Maybe it was a bad day for them, but not a great experience for us.
