Culture Kings Melbourne reviews
39 Wow.you call that a Nike Adapt Launch? 20 pairs of shoes? If that? The line at the door didn't even move, and it wasn't even a big line. Absolutely disgusted. 4 Hours of waiting in the cold and rain, near the FRONT of the line and still had no chance in hell.
Rang up head office to explain the situation, and they just didn't care, didn't put me onto a manager or someone of significance. The secretary at the front desk said "im sooooo sorry" kind of sounded like a mcdonalds employee when they stuff up your order.
5 dollar shipping to the same city address? This must be great I'll have my order in a few days
purchased a tee on the 3rd of April and my order is still unfulfilled on the 12th of April. Very annoying since this was for my mates birthday which was 2 days ago. Please follow up on this
Poorly handled a limited drop of merch. Called the store before to ask what time they'll be in stock and I'm told when the store opens at 10am, so I come in at 10 and I'm told that it'll be 2: 30-3: 00pm. I return later to not only find that they'd bring the merch out at 3: 30, but that they don't even inform customers what sizes they have until they've waited in line for an hour! Absolutely ridiculous
This is a dream! I went there to just have a look but ended up buying somthing. As soon as I walked in I started to hear music playing, a worker said "welcome" and smiled at me. I saw all the best brands of clothing. I saw t-shirts, shirts, jumpers watches and sunglasses, I continued to walk and saw the "CK holy grails". I saw a DJ at the second floor hitting up the music. Saw a lot of pants, bags and clothes. I walked upstairs and saw the hair dressers. Saw even more clothes and saw shoes. I looked around for around 30 minutes and found somthing, it was a red Nike hip bag, they call it. Pretty much a bag with one strap. It looked really cool and trendy, it also had a lot of different compartments and zips. It was only $44.95! I ended up getting it and paid for it, and I walked out with the biggest smile and full of happyness. I recomend coming here because it is the best shop I have every Benn to in my time!
. As soon as I walked into "Culture Kings", I realised that " Culture Kings" Are Really The Kings of All Things Cool.upon entering this mansion of fashion, I was instantaneously greeted by not one but two happy looking and very cute staff. I felt special. The staff were courteous, happy to find exactly what I wanted. No drama. Hats off to the boss. You are running a very up and coming business.p. S.please give the girls and guys at Culture King A Raise. Stat. MA
Came in on a Friday's night, not expecting any great customer service as its Friday. Just when I thought there isnt any staff, Sophie popped up and was very helpful and showed me a lot of stock that she didnt need to but thought it might help me make a decision. 10/10 customer service! I ended buying an amazing jacket
The chick that helped me with shoes here is awesome. Good chat and so laid back. All the staff here were cool and helpful. The DJ was sick.
Got a cut from Ben the barber solid dude knows his customers and his trade offering suggestions of what type of fade to get (High, Medium or Low fade). Recommend getting a cut from this dude any day and I will be coming back due to this experience, cheers Benny.
All of the brands and clothes are just low quality with a brand logo that no one even knows. I guarantee that no one even knows half the brands they sell except for people who also buy from Culture Kings.
Staff are always helpful, good store all round it has just about everything. It’s not possible to get bad customer service here, everyone is friendly and helps you with everything.
The new store is very nicely set out plenty of space and the 2 floors are packed with goods! Great place to also get a fresh cut and some nice kicks!
There are also many specials which come up every now and then.
A great location overall with a nice back alley full of Street art work!
Worth a visit if passing through Melbourne
Made a mistake in my online order, sent and email and gave them a call and it was all sorted. Everyone I spoke to was super helpful and it was an all over great experience! Can’t wait for my order to arrive!
I thought I didn't have anxiety, but this shop proved me wrong. As soon as I walked in the music was jarring, anxiety inducing and angry. It wasn't that I hated the music that made it bad it was the volume, it left my ears ringing and gave me a panic attack. Clothes were pretty substandard style and obviously followed the streetwise trend but I can recommend plenty of better less pricey places around Melbourne. To their credit staff were very helpful and I got the bag I wanted for a much cheaper price than I would've elsewhere however that doesn't outweigh the horrifying retail atmosphere. Also I saw a lot of uncomfortable parents accompanying many tweens with their wallets in hand and I feel very sorry for them. If you suffer from anxiety don't go to this shop, especially if you get violent urges cause that's what the music gave me.
I visited CK’s Russell St randomly today and was amazed by the variety of clothing and brands! While looking around, I was approached by Sophie and wow, she knows her s@&t! She really took the time to help me choose clothes that were perfect to my style. She is a rare find. Awesome personality and honest opinions! Please pass this review onto her Thanks Soph for all your help and great attitude
I came to buy kicks, but sorta felt "Not cool enough" to be there. More the clientele's than the staff's fault. Weird vibes for old-skoolers.
Indian looking fella let half the people cut the line at the skepta meet clothes are dead in there now wouldnt reccomend its for 13 yr olds
Awesome experience in saloon got a good customer service Rhys is good lad. I’m happy to visit again and again when ever there is a need
Music is awesome
I'm not in the age demographic for this store, but my kids Think it's mint- which I found out is a really good thing. Vast array of T-shirts, caps, skate wear, socks, watches, everything for the fashion conscious young person. Brand name gear, that your kids will know.
Great sized store with lots of range. I’m from Brisbane and when I heard I was coming to Melbourne I was most excited about visiting the Melbourne culture kings due to the great atmosphere I’m always hearing about. I walked in the pouring rain from my hotel to the store and as I walked in i was not acknowledged by one single staff member the whole time I was inside. Despite this, I still spent quite a bit of money yet was not given any tokens to use for the holy grail. I was going to ask about it but was too scared to even talk as everyone looked miserable and couldn’t even look up to say hello. Not sure what all that was about?
Kind regards,
Aydin
