Seems the "doctor" is so afraid of loosing his job, so he prefers not to do his job at all. Went there for a simple ear and sinus infection, he tried his best to avoid visiting by asking different questions and irrelevant questions to find a way to pretend it's related to the "covid protocol". He was like 4 metres away all the time, and the best part was he prescribed a few medicine even without any sort of assessment. Fortunately my case wasn't hospital urgent, imagine people with urgent needs. Super dodgy.

There is a very large disparity between the doctors here. Dr Vanderzeil is at the top end of the spectrum whilst Dr Raza is more concerned with making money than offering health advice.

Very disappointing experience. I saw Dr. Raza, she lacked any bedside manner and has dated views. I've worked in the public health sector for 7 years now and could not imagine treating any of my pts with the same disregard and disrespect as I was treated. My first pregnancy experience with my GP was clinical and cold. Would not recommend.

I saw Dr Raza for a number of years; she treats patients like they are sheep to be hearded; orders 3 ppl in at a time, has them siit outside her office and rishes thru them at warp speed. For this reason (knew I'd be dealt with quickly) I bookeda double: Dr Raza became furious; as if I was denying her another customer. She is pushy and gets irritable if you ask tostay longer. One of the worst Croydon doctors ever Ihave seen.

Came in for a blood test with my pathology referral from a nearby clinic. Had to wait about 10+ minutes before reception could ask me the basic COVID-19 questions and then was directed to wait for pathology. After 15 mins of waiting I wandered to see where pathology was and the pathologist said she wasn't busy and hadn't known I was sitting there waiting. Maybe some miscommunication on my part (they weren't doing numbers at the time) but definitely a lot of waiting around when I likely didn't need to. Pathologist was great though, really friendly and we had a good chat.

Been going here for a while now and I'ven ever had an experience I'd consider bad. There's a pretty consistent issue of doctors runinng late for appointments but in my experience it's because the dont rush the patient. I appreciate that a great deal.

My daughter was feeling really sick and she called and was advised to come down straight away. When she turned up the lady at reception said no we wouldn't have told you that, you must be at the wrong clinic. She went back out to the car and pressed redial on the phone and the receptionist answered? My dad used to go and whilst in his 80's would often be left waiting up to an hour to see the doctor. Needless to say we dont go here any more.

I have attended this clinic originally for a back problem and consulted 2 of the female doctors and found them both dismissive and refused any input from me on the.mobility problem I was having. I on several occasions said I feel the pain was in my hip but was told no the symptoms were the same and anyway I was over 80.so I would not be operated on. By October I was in so much pain I went to Maroondah hospital and was diagnosed with a severe hip problem as all the cushioning had gone and it was bone on bone. The end result is I have been in hospital since mid December and rehab and transitional care in constant pain unable to walk unaided. I hopefully will have my operation this month. They both just don't listen and want to push you out in under 10 minutes. I think they should take a long hard look and start listening to their patients instead of pushing through the most patients in the shortest time possible

Horrible service. After waiting for an hour I was told their computers weren't working and I couldnt be served that day. I rescheduled for the next day, waited for another 30 minutes to see the doctor and then had a 5 minute consultation regarding a simple blocked ear. They had to charge me the full cost of $80 because "Medicare isn't working". The doctor told me to purchase some Gauze Swabs so I went into the pharmacy in the practice and the lady who served me had absolutely no idea what a gauze swab was. I'm a young hard working apprentice and, in my opinion, $80 was way too much for 5 minutes of someone's expert opinion. As an additional complaint, when I called to book the appointment on the first day, the receptionist indicated that I would have my ear flushed, but when I got to the doctor on the second day he was hesitant to flush my ear and ended up telling me to keep using a product I already had in conjunction with the gauze pads I mentioned before. I can't see any reason why the doctor I was meant to see on the first day couldn't have simply done the consultation without the use of her computer.

In short, very disapointing, I feel as though I should've refused to pay the $80 after the whole ordeal and asked for compensation for travel and having to take an early day at work to make both appointments. I think the doctor could've assisted more in providing the product I needed. I'll be looking for somewhere else to go next time, the problem was the whole clinic not just the doctors.

Was told I had to book for a blood test as 3 tests had to be done 1 hr apart. I had to wait 45 mins for 1st blood test & hadn’t eaten for 14 hours, was not happy as still had another 2 hrs to fast. Was told by nurse it’s a numbering system not an appointment system. After waiting 20 mins I noticed people taking numbers so I took one just in case. Shocking communication

So happy with the service at this clinic. Dr Raza is such a good doctor and very caring. She very kindly stayed back late after her clinic to see my 11month old. I rushed to get there from work and was a little late. The receptionist and Dr Raza were lovely about it and were very patient. The pharmacy onsite too stayed back after they had closed to fill a script for my little one. Very appreciative mother today. Thank you

I see Dr Power he's the best for me, he puts up with my anxiety (I have a fear of drs) I have seen other drs at the practice when Dr John Power is away on a well deserved break! I found them all pretty good, no complaints:) The receptionists are polite. Pharmacy on site. Friendly place

Great service. Lovely staff. Seen quickly on a Sunday. Unless you're a child or have a concession you have to pay, but the Medicare refund is given instantly - so not that bad.

Out of pocket $80 because they advertised flu injections are bulk billed if you go to their special flu va clinics.when you turn up they then charge you $20 per person, even if you have a HCC

Reception staff were rude and rather sat at their desks looking at Facebook then attend to patients. Waiting period for an appointment was terrible I was waiting over 50 minutes and ended up leaving and making an appointment elsewhere. Absolutely appalling service would not recommend clinic, will not be returning.

I go to this practice for my regular check ups. Dr Vanderzeil is the best doctor (but his patient list is closed). The staff are lovely. I have been going to these doctors for over 20 years and never had a problem. I have BUPA cover so I get my visits free.

Having read the previous reviews, I must say that I am GENUINELY surprised [and sorry] at the negative experiences some patients had while visiting Croydon Family Practice. I have been a patient of Dr John Power for seven years now and I HIGHLY recommend him — both for his professionalism and his TERRIFIC and caring "bedside manner". I often find myself needing to reschedule my appointments [sometimes at the last minute], and although this can be troublesome for the reception staff, who then need to try and juggle patients to fill the space, they are ALWAYS polite and understandable about it — I like them very much! Lastly, when there IS a big delay in being seen by your doctor, it is almost always due to patients who present early in the morning with symptoms of something life-threatening, like a cardiac event or stroke; in cases like this it is necessary (ethically AND legally), for the doctor to stay with their patient, monitoring them, until the paramedics arrive and "take over". Now this hour (for example) can easily result in all of a doctor's patient's being seen later than their appointed time. So, we do need to bear this in mind when our doctor[s] are running late)

A couple of particular Dr's I really like and one who is extremely rude and so incompetent im not naming names. Some reception staff are lovely and some are rude and need training on dealing with patients suffering various issues! I dont care if their just reception get some training in medical health rather than treating patients like idiots! Especially those suffering mental health issues! All these Dr's are contracted on their own contracts to the center so essentially the center takes no responsibility for them.
