Cromwell STREAT reviews
59Streat is excellent! The beautiful outside seating area was like a haven on a 32 degree day and while sipping on an exquisitely sweet squeezed orange juice I took in the fusion brunch menu. My partner and I decided on Son in Law eggs (crumbed fried egg) and the Streat Breakfast (have a look at the skillet dish in the photos. The 5 stars says it all. I capped off the indulgence with a Tiger Iced Coffee - condensed milk goodness and strong coffee that was just overindulgence after the food but I couldn't help it. We are gonna keep coming back Streat folk!
My girlfriend and I enjoyed a relaxed outdoor escape from the hectic cbd environment.staff wonderful and easy.food delicious.drinks perfectly cold and refreshing.ambient.natural and chilled.perfection.thank you
Good brunch option
Nice outdoor setting. Good brunch options and very good service. Would recommend to anyone. Will definitely go back again.
Went in for a coffee and to do some work. The waiter noticed my laptop bag and offered to sit me somewhere with a power point nearby. Super lovely service, going above and beyond.
Great initiative, always friendly service and very nice food and coffee. They have an amazing bakery on site too, one of the better sourdoughs in the area for sure. Don't miss out on their choc chip cookies btw so good!
I would never order the polenta anywhere but I did here and I absolutely do not regret it. Tasty and creative food, lovely staff and delicious coffee
Variety for everyone. Vegan and vegetarian covered, as well as some standard breakfasts. But the food is great, coffee yummy and staff lovely.
Food flavour is 5 star, service is personable and friendly. Coffee quality had me levitating and their contributions to the community help me feel less guilty about blowing my budget. Big fan!
Best long black I've had in a long time. Service is super friendly and genuine and food is delicious. Winning all round!
Wow what a wonderful venue!
Great food, great coffee and great service!
We were lucky to chance upon it (thanks to a nearby lululemon shop) and loved the decor and plants.
Can't wait to come back!
Good food, good coffee and a good cause. Staff are great too and the service is always friendly. Often swing past for a loaf of their awesome sourdough from the on-site bakery, and absolutely love those almond croissants.
An oasis in the middle of Collingwood. From the street a fine old lady, but so much to offer inside and, aside from great food and coffee, helping youth in need is the icing on their cake.
Hosted a Melb Design Week event here and attendees loved the venue, the food, and the vibe. Everyone at STREAT was very helpful and organised to create a wonderful event! Thank you
A lovely venue, with an ambient outdoor garden area as well as an inside spot. The coffee and chai latte were very nice.
Cromwell St is a great haven from the concrete commercial surrounds. A beautiful space with both indoor areas with fairy lights in the roof and a large outdoor space with deck chairs and greenery. It's a window only menu until 11am but the breakfast sangas are great! Service is good and coffee is decent but inconsistent. A great space and worth a try.
Nice setting, slightly expensive prices for a meal. Unfortunately had a bad customer service experience here which didn't make me feel welcomed. Pity.
This is a favourite coffee shop of mine as it is a nice green escape in industrial Collingwood. The brunch meals I have tried are both generous and delicious. To top it all off, the service is attentive and it is a social enterprise doing great work in the community.
We loved the food, services and grabbed some fresh sourdough bread to take home. The outdoor area is great for our puppy and the story behind the place was heart warming.
Fantastic coffee and very friendly staff. Came here for a quick espresso and have left inspired by the good this company is doing for the community
