Cromwell STREAT

Food was not up to scratch. Bacon extremely dry and could not eat it. If you like throwing money away, Streat Cromwell Cafe is the place. 1/10

Took the Team to Streat Cromwell in Collingwood for end of year Celebration and Thank You lunch. Brilliant in every way. Perfectly hosted by the Streat Team - booking, sharing menu before the event to make ordering easy, excellent food and drinks. Set us up inside to suit the weather. Such a great space and setting.
Well done and thank you to all at Streat.

The ambience of the restaurant/cafe was very easy and cool. We had a friend on a wheelchair and the place was accessible. The place is dog-friendly. The service is great. We ordered 4 dishes, and mine was the korean pork with veggies, like bibimbap but not on a hot plate. It was delicious and had the right amount of acidity. The eggs on toast with sausages and bacon were just the classic brunch plate. The STREAT breakfast skillet was so good, even my little one liked it. Highly recommended place!

We had a lovely Christmas function there the food, service and vibe were brilliant. The space is a gorgeous, tranquil oasis.

I use to frequent Streat as often as I could for breakfast in the past; and having been so close I decided to drop in for lunch.

Luckily I booked ahead as getting a table here at lunchtime is difficult at times

Instantly we were greeted by bright smiling staff at the front of house and swiftly escorted to the table where I ordered a beer and food.it didn't take long for the food to arrive and as expected the food was delicious

the dobson potato gnocci dish was exceptional! So was the fried brussel sprout dish with okonomi sauce!

the spinach and ricotta sausage roll was delicious but it could have been hotter

. The pan fried brussel sprouts japanese style - yum!

did I forget the chips

the service was impeccable, everything neat and tidy

the atmosphere was as expected - laid back

kudos to everyone at Streat for doing such great work with the less fortunate

Gorgeous set up, great coffee, great service and the best almond croissants you can get hold off in Melbourne.

Catering for our staff forums or lunches is always tasty, delivered on time and the food is creative. Love the packaging and the service from the phone call, to the ordering, to the delivery. What an absolutely wonderful initiative matched with fresh, wholesome food. Well done!

Cute and delicious stuff! A little expensive in general but not out of the ordinary for the area.

What a great initiative by the business to hire people who want to have hospitality experience. Initially we thought the service would be horrible but we are surprised by how friendly and fast the service is. The food was great too! The broth on the Udon noodle was tasty, light and perfect for cold weather. There is plenty of space indoors and outdoors.

Really nice coffee and great staff. I recognised the Barista from a cafe in South Melbourne, so I knew the coffee was going to be good. Will be back for the food in the future.

I never really had brunch before but this place blew my expectations out of the water. I had the chickpea breakfast and it was perfect, so much attention to detail, lovely earthy flavours. The staff were attentive and friendly. The garden area they have is also really special. Give this place a try, you will not regret

Lovely little urban oasis, nice organisation and side of building has a lovely painting by the world renowned ROA. Staff are lovely, especially with my toddler, who they gave a free pastry to take away last time I was in. Easy 5 stars
