Courtyard by Marriott Melbourne Flagstaff Gardens

The hotel is nice, clean, and the service is good. The location is a little disappointing, but the advantage is that it's quiet.

I chose this hotel for the 2024 Australian Open, which is one of the hotels cooperated by AO Travel. The location of the hotel is very good. It is on the northwest side of Melbourne CBD and very close to the Queen Victoria Market. It is recommended to go to the market on the first day of your stay. You can buy cheaper and more delicious fruits and vegetables than in the supermarket. It's a bit far from the Australian Open venue, it takes 30 to 40 minutes to walk, but Melbourne is a very walkable city, and there are free trams you can take if you don't want to walk.

The hotel staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet is small but has good choices. The room is very comfortable and the TV can be used for Chromecast projection which is a plus.

Stayed for 1 night, the staff was very friendly and also got a free upgrade being a Gold Elite member, wished we stayed longer.

The cafe attached to this hotel is TERRIBLE. They run out food regularly, they charge whatever they want, they dont have correct open and closing times online and they just dont care.

Absolutely loved this hotel! I had an amazing experience staying here (a brand new hotel) I travel for work and I was staying at this hotel for over a month and Jolene and Juju were super friendly. The buffet breakfast was amazing I recommend. It made easier to have room service since I’d be so tired from work and didn’t feel like getting food. I would recommend!

I have stayed in Courtyard for a few times and it has been great for me. New hotel with quality service, good distance from the busy city area so it is not too busy. I recommend this to those travelling to Melbourne and looking for a high quality stay

Lovely, new hotel in West Melbourne. Next door to the fire station means there is a chance of disturbance. Close enough to the city if you're prepared to walk but only 10 mins by taxi and close to the tram network. Staff were fantastic. Room was really clean and well equipped. Bed was super comfy. Really enjoyed staying here.

Location is great. You can reach any popular location with a short walk. Room Service, Cafe and breakfast are just perfect

Highly recommended for Melbourne stay

Went to a meeting at this location and found the place to be very well structured as a venue that can provide great amenity and services like AV equipment. The site also provides people who know how this equipment should work if you have trouble. We had a move of tables to accommodate more people to the meeting and the site staff were very quick to rearrange tables and chairs to work with the people running the meeting.

Wouldn't know how like this hotel was as we didn't get by the reception refused to let us stay and wouldn't refund told us to get that through Expedia they need to get there staff some more training as they sorely lack customer service and problem solving skills all in all very bad experience

My partner and I stayed 5 nights in a Deluxe King Room and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The interiors were modern and the bedding was very comfortable. We loved being able to chromecast to the room TV from our phones. The rooms were kept neat and the staff were wonderful. My partner enjoyed the hotel gym. Highly recommend!

Great service but lacks basic amenities and knowledge. I very much appreciate the upgrade offer, but the hotel itself were not equipped with some standard amenities that is available in other Marriott franchises. I asked for a softer pillow, they don’t have it and there’s only one option. I requested a turn down service, the staff who picked up my phone don’t understand what it means. I feel the hotel will need to improve on amenities.

Walking distance to tram stop for tram #30 & #86, it is within city free zone, closest stop is "La Trobe St/Spencer St #119". Parking is pricey at 45AUD per day, parking space is limited, better to prebook, total 16 + 1 handicap parking space. Parking garage is extremely tight. Cheaper off-site parking is one block away but it is outdoor parking. Breakfast buffet is very good but it is not free, suggest to buy package deal that includes breakfast. Grocery store Coles is 10 mins walk away. Found a concentration of Korean restaurants for 10 mins walk. No pool but there is a good gym.

Clean hotel with friendly service. About a 20 min walk into the cbd but close to a tram if you’re not keen to walk. Reasonably priced although beds and pillows were a bit firm and only provided the smallest of fridges which was a shame. Overall happy with our stay.

Far too expensive for what we got, no fridge, no sink. The fan in the bathroom did not work, underground car park is to tight. The pillows were very hard and woke up with a sore neck. They use an overseas company to book rooms. We called up to confirm booking as we never got any confirmation emails, they couldn’t find any of our info. Drama after drama. And they accidentally charged us twice.

The housekeeper doesn’t do a good job. Bedding products are not comfortable based on my feelings.

Good experience. Breakfast menu stays the same for the whole of the week. Guests staying for a week to go through the same menu is something hotel team must look into

Relatively new hotel.
The room was very spacious and clean, basic amenities were also provided as per all hotels. The hotel breakfast spread was not too bad! Staffs were very friendly and really helpful, especially in assisting with holding our luggages
for us despite checking out already.
Location was great, very close to Queen Vic Market and Flagstaff station! Overall, a pleasant stay, wouldn’t mind coming back:)
