Cosy and Tasty Dumpling Restaurant

I’m a huge fan of dumplings so naturally, I had to give Cosy and Tasty Dumpling Restaurant a try. We ordered two types of dumplings and their BBQ pork buns, which were freshly made as we ordered and tasted great. However, we felt the prices were higher than average considering the portions and quality. Overall, the staff were patient and the restaurant itself has some nice decorations.

Shopping centre food glorified! This was horrendous. No way shape or form authentic or had any flavour, as a purveyor of Szechuan food this was in no way it. Not one Szechuan pepper corn was hurt in the making of this food…. For all those that love the shopping centre dining experience this is you … Frankston enjoy ️

This place has survived covid because they serve fantastic food. We have been going here since they started.

I ordered Beef n Black Bean t/a for the 1st time from here Beef was perfectly tender and good quality I’ll definitely be back

Actually enjoyed my first time at, Cosy Tasty, ready to go again. Have now been there a few times. Never disappointed.

Well below average and I would not return. I shared 5 dishes, two were dumplings and both were nice. The other 3 were poor quality. One was garlic prawns and I eat this dish regularly so I can compare and this dish looked terrible, had no taste and the prawns were small, watery and clearly not fresh. Also had salt and pepper calamari which was tasteless and a small serve. The last dish was Chinese broccoli the sauce which it made it inedible. Most of the broccoli dish was left uneaten. The 5 dishes cost over $70 so thoroughly disappointing to have such a poor standard.

Dumplings are my favourite good group, and this place has the best dumplings I’ve had in a long time! Yum! Well done and thank you. Can’t wait to be back.

Really do make tasty dumplings, and the noodle boxes were fantastic flavour wise.
Only criticism we had is that we felt it lacked meat/seafood compared to other places, too much noodle but otherwise amazing.

It is a small establishment, so that explains why the term 'cozy' is used. The food is very tasty. Our favourites are the egg plant dumplings, Szechwan chicken and stir fried vegetable with tofu and Chinese mushroom. It is one our favourite eateries in Frankston.

Came out for date night here after a recommendation from a friend and we were so impressed.

It is just a small little place on nepean hwy so you can mistakenly underestimate the quality.

Lovely team who were quick to serve us, polite and with smiles it was a great experience.

Our favorite dish for the night was the salt and pepper squid. Holy heck was is good, fresh, light, perfectly battered and crispy. We only had an entree and regretted not getting it as a main.

We also had the pork pan friend dumplings, eggplant and capsicum pan fried dumplings and nasi goreng rice, it was all incredible!
I really enjoy the vegetarian dumplings, I wouldn't normally get a vegetarian option but it sounded really tasty and I was not disappointed.

We will definitely be back!

Beautiful food. We had pepper beef, Mee Goreng and grilled dumplings - all were excellent. Also friendly service. I will definitely return.

Now usually I'm not as harsh as this, but this was definitely the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in awhile. Took 20 minutes to even get served, then they slowly drip fed us our food and drinks over 45 minutes. Ended up cancelling some of our order cause it was taking too long and then we left. Would never visit this place again if im in the area.

Loved the dining experience. Great selection of freshly made dumplings and other dishes.
Definitely on my must go again list.

10/10 atmosphere and the Kong Po chicken is amazing. Dumplings could use a bit of work though. Slightly too small and doesn't hold its juices quite well. Overally very pleasant experience.

Way more delicious than it should be - has a tendency to demand over indulgence in outstanding dumplings!

My partner and I dine here almost every 2nd week! Super cheap and delicious.
They have huge portions and food is always hot and fresh.
Have had a larger booking and they had no trouble fitting us all in comfortably and everyone’s food came out together! They have had some renovations done which has opened the middle section up for more seats and extra leg room, they have also added some tap beer & more variety of drinks.
Would 10/10 recommend the dumplings? The are always very tasty and super juicy

Good selection of Chinese dumplings on offer in tight for space shop in Frankston, often very busy, but worth it.
