Cosy and Tasty Dumpling Restaurant

The most delicious dumplings and Singapore noodles I’ve ever had. Better than any dumplings I’ve eaten in Melbourne’s Chinatown. Great service, quality and price.

One of my favourite places to have dinner with family, or lunch with work colleagues. Great food, friendly staff, and comfortable atmosphere and seating.

We ordered the home made pork and prawn steamed dumplings with chilli sauce.
They were the worst l have ever tasted, the pork was like a paste of something and each dumpling had one shrimp inside it.
No way could you taste any prawn. Most unappetising: (

I've had this takeaway several times. Huge fan of the pork buns, sweet and savoury flavours and a perfectly steamed bun. Nasi goreng is awesome with lots of umami flavour. Dumplings are beautiful, the chilli oil is a must!

Update aug23 back again and the dumplings are still awesome. Rang ahead with the order.

The food is absolutely awesome. Very slow but that's just a sign it's all made fresh. I'll be back.

The steamed dumplings with chili sauce/s are delicious and I love the rice noodles with beef and veg, all the meals Ive ordered from this place have been amazing.

I write this review midway through my steamed chicken and prawn dumplings. Absolutely amazing! The filling is flavoursome and the skin is super soft and not chewy or rubbery! The chilli oil is by far the best I’ve ever had!

I love the dumplings at this place, best I’ve ever had but their service is appalling. Taking in so many Uber eats and menu log orders leaves them forgetting the customers actually IN the restaurant.

I had to order on menu log to pick up because they didn’t answer the phone the 7 times I called and you also pay significantly more on the app than you would if they took your order over the phone.

The restaurant is so small you’re left waiting outside. Was told 10 minutes - waited an hour and 15. Needs a bigger restaurant, more staff and less worrying about cramming in so many orders people in the restaurant have to come up to the counter and ask where their food is. I hate leaving reviews like this but I’ve been here that many times and it’s now just getting ridiculous and making me not want to bother.

Family enjoy this place, but I'm just not a fan! The service is quite slow, and it took over 40 minutes for some of our food to arrive. The pork dumplings were absolutely disgusting in my view, but the satay chicken and vegetarian spring rolls were indeed lovely.

The food is great, tasty, and serves are quite generous. Enough variety to suit most palates.

We have celebrated a couple of events there as prices are reasonable. It is a bit squishy, noisy and stuffy. But sometimes, that all adds to the atmosphere.

Actually enjoyed my first time at, Cosy Tasty, ready to go again. Have now been there a few times. Never disappointed.
. Returned with family tonight. Food was very tasty like always. Only issue we were all very hot. That's not the atmosphere I want when dining out.

Small local place, traditional dumplings are delish. Don't expect fancy but you will enjoy the food

Worst tasting dumplings I've had. Ordered the Pork & Prawn steamed dumplings to take away and the order was slow and the dumplings were awful, no taste at all, not to mention overpriced; $14.50 for 10. Better off going to other local dumplings houses in the area, not worth the visit or money.

Ordered our dinner sat and I watched my wife eat her main and waited another 45 minutes for my main, this isn't the first time we have experienced this before at this restaurant and we will never dine at this restaurant again.

Great food and fresh beer at reasonable price. Simple but welcoming vibe. Will definitely be back.

Poor service they don’t let our dog to come in side (we understand that) so decided to eat outside we ask for a chair and they told us that the chairs are for customers only. (we are customers too) they are rude with us but not with Aussie maybe because we’re asian.

Fresh, tasty and affordable. My husband said some of the best dumplings he’s ever had. Chicken skewers so tasty! Rice very generous portions.

A great place with good varieties of dumplings. Been here many times. Especially love the pan fried pork dumplings with juicy filling and thin crispy wrap… Stir fries are fresh and meat is really tender and flavorful. They also offer nice local tap beer which is definitely a add-on!

Food took forever to arrive, and when it did, it was average. The rice was better than the chicken.
