They are the busiest one in Melbourne. They have clothes, which are different U. S.brands, some of them are well known. All across the stores you may find their own brand as well. There are lots of books for kids and adults, electronics, kitchenware and tools etc. Their bakery is big and the cakes are amazing, you may place order online for cakes and platters. There is a separate canteen where you can buy pizza, salads, hot dogs and ice cream and it isn't expensive.

Always busy no matter what time of the day or evening I go! So glad that they put the addition of fuel as the prices are consistently better than the fuel chains. Good choices at this store I go for a few things and come back with a car full of food.

Optical department manger name is tony he is rude and doesn’t listen to customers and old lady are working there who have no manners, and they always provoke customer to a fight it is my advice just try to avoid this section in Costco

The fuel prices are best around and if you like to buy organic egg in bulks it is the best priced in Melbourne. Other than that if you don't need to buy in bulks, stick to Aldi for convenient prices.

You have to know what you're getting outside, mostly find better prices outside minus the inconvenient bulk quantities. Some good bargains to be had. Not too bad overall.

Half the time it's retail prices packed in an inconveniently large quantity. Beer for example is no cheaper than Dan Murphy's. The exception is fuel which is a good price.

Absolutely arragont staff with no concern for customers. They interrupt you so often with no etiquette. I have been charged the pre registered amount for fuel instead if the actual amount. Spoke with the Manager, Liby, about this. Liby said that she would ring the accounts department and let me know. I’m still waiting. Don’t use their fuel pump and go through all these issues. Several times I have noticed that the price is not cheap either.

Cheap petrol, cheap booze and cheap cheese pizza. What's not to like?

Avoid going on a weekend if you can, it's manic and the queues are long.

I do like Costco. But avoid on the weekend if you can, the place is crazy. The food from the little canteen is always fresh but again you can stand inline for a while during busy times. (Highly recommend the 3 cheese pizza) in the warehouse you really need to know your prices, sometimes you not actually saving money but spending more. There is always samples happening to taste and try. The fuel is fantastic. I run my car on the premium unleaded and I have never had any issues my partners car is a diesel and again it’s great fuel and usually substantially cheaper than other service stations. Only down side is that you do have to prepay for you fuel and as it is self serve if you car doesn’t take the amount you pre paid it will refund the difference with in 2 days. Only other down side is Costco do not accept American Express credit cards.

If you love big stores with best brand names, this is the place, people who love Kmart and IGA hate Costco. You should have passion to shop at Costco, but prefer the Dockland one as it was well organised. However be careful when eat at moorabbin, three times had tummy ache after eating chicken bbq slice

Super store with bulk buying. Amazong chiller areas for fresh produce, dairy and ice creams. The best part is the fresh bakery.

Absolutely disgusting customer service and policy. I came to Costco to have a look at what was on offer and if I liked what I saw I was happy to sign up and gain a membership. The lady at the door asked for my membership. I told her I was here to look and if I like it I would sign up. She wouldn't let me go in for a look. She then asked that I ask the membership desk if they would let me have a look. The Indian man working behind the desk said you need to pay first then have a look if you don't like what is on offer they will refund the money.

Why on earth would you pay any store open for business money to have a look.

Dear Costco,

It's a very competitive market out there. You won't be getting a cent from me ever with a disgusting unwelcoming arrogant attitude like you have displayed tonight.

I'll stick to going to woolies and Coles.

Worth getting a membership for the great prices. But be aware that you can find some items for cheaper elsewhere.

We’ve been members since 2009 and I’m staggered to see such diversity in customer reviews. I’ve been a fan since visiting Costco in America. Although some here clearly complain about their experience in 9 years of shopping here each and every time it’s been a great experience. Our kids LOVE it when we say it’s time to go - we make a night of it often filling 2 trolleys. The entire building is clean like no other if it’s kind. It makes Campbell’s cash m carry and bulk buy places look like a joke. They stock great product, often only one or two of a kind - but they are the best in that category. I had a Kitchen-aid Food Processor that although was bought 7 years ago - it has been used twice - the latch broke and I took it back - Andy happily gave me a full credit - try getting Myers or David Jones or ANY other retailer to refund you $345 for a faulty product 7 years later. Good luck. Impossible is the answer to that. But Costco protect you the customer. And that makes you feel safe and confident as a customer buying from them. Sure not everything is cheaper - but often most everything is very comparable or at least cheaper. Not faultless I agree. But who is? I’m not. Let alone the Costco competition - they are not In The same race. And the membership fee is recouped In just 4 tanks of petrol - particularly if you run on 98 octane. Brilliant.

A member since Price Club 20yrs / but in Australia I'd recommend Woolworths to all Costco members
Woolworths- good helpful staff / good range / good price/ good environment - complete opposite of all COSTCO Australia obstructive unhelpful staff /half assed parking / half assed trolley lifts.
