Cornell's Fresh Seafood reviews
46After waiting 5 minutes to get served waited anther 20 for order only 1 person a head of us the staff stood around talking while another couple waited to put their order in when we got ours the chips where burnt the fish half cooked dim sim burnt and they left out the calamari rings. Expensive meal to be thrown in the bin
We found the chips gold and crispy on the outside and soft inside - the way we like it. Also enjoyed the potato cakes, friendly service, and fun presentation of the fish and chips in a box. The potato cakes tasted fine to us. Cosy inside eating area with a liquor licence so people were enjoying a glass of wine with their fare on a Sunday afternoon
They serve beer and wine here but don't have a toilet for their patrons, okay fish and chips, Thai fish cakes were underwhelming.
Very oily and sometimes the don't answer the phone when you call to make an order (has happened twice). Quite expensive as well.
Seafood and chips were fresh and tasty. Generous portions, with great prices. Overall a very good experience.
Place is called sushi bar fish and chips but it doesn't even sell sushi. In fact, there's a lot of stuff that's still on their menu but they don't even sell it anymore- time to change your signs maybe?
Easy to order fish and chips over the phone, pick up and walk back to the beach. Great friendly service and kitchen staff. Good food.
Food good service good wanted coffee and girl said don't do it then I said you have coffee machine then she said I can't make it but if I did it would not be good, so I think you should get them lessons to make coffee.
Nothing fresh about the fish or prawns we ordered. The calamari pack was 60% lettuce. The only positive thing, were the chips. Waste of 30 mins waiting for our order which pretty much all went in the bin.
This place used to be good but now the service is hopeless, food a rip off and the chips were cooked in burnt oil.
Has been great previously but last serve was pretty standard. Potato cake was not great, and fish bites the size of chicken nuggets.
We waited for over an HOUR for our order this arvo along with everyone else. Maybe order over the phone instead of at the counter. Pretty good fish n chips though.
The place had sold out of all burgers and souvlaki. Staff got angry at us over the phone for trying to order items they were out of stock of.
Ordered a medium chips and didnt get enough chips to feed one person.
Will not be returning
One word: Horrible!
It is super expensive, portion size is ridiculous. Doesn't taste fresh at all. I would not recommend this place.
The service we got tonight was 5 star. Thank you very much to the lovely lady on the phone! It's service like this that makes the difference. Our food was also 5 stars. Fantastic place to eat. Thank you so much. Will be returning
Freshly cooked fish and chips yummy. We paid $59.00 a kilo for fresh pealed king prawns, for that price we expected fresh. The were bloody frozen, they were tasteless!
Great food and service. Can’t believe how many orders they managed to get out on such a busy night. Love it how they offer a “fast pack” when people don’t want to wait long for their orders.ate some SA oysters while waiting for our food so milky and delicious! Thanks Cornell’s
Staff have no idea. Dont even know what the special board says, Bring out wrong order and make you wait another 20 minutes then come out and request more money to re order and start cooking. So rude and inconsiderate.
Best fish and chips ever but the potato cakes tasted like bum. The portion sizes were quite small but the fish and chips were amazing! I would definitely go back for the fish and chips.
