Condello's Shoe Repairs reviews
29In and out with keys cut almost immediately! Could not believe this level or service I just had to come and leave a review! Friendly too!
Had rubber half soles added to a pair of new heels. Service was good, turnaround was quick (took them in Saturday and they were ready Monday), they did a really good job including blending it and tidying any light scuffs on the side and sent a text message when it was ready for pick up. Great service, highly recommend!
Leaving a 1 star review because the women I spoke to today was bare rude. I brought a pair of heels in to see if they could be fixed. It turns out they couldn’t, which is absolutely fine, these things happen. However when I was enquiring the woman abruptly kept repeating ‘cant do anything about that. ’ in a borderline rude tone. Could she have not just said ‘we’re really sorry but we won’t be able to fix your heels as we would have to lift the whole shoe up, sorry again, enjoy the rest of your day. ’ Not exactly hard is it? Basic customer service skills isn’t rocket science. Avoid this place if you want to be spoken to politely
I attended this store with my mother who bought a key there. They were extremely rude to her, and because of the way she was treated, I decided to take my business elsewhere (I needed a key cut and had intended to buy some merchandise too).
In addition to their indecency, the services and products sold here are overpriced and poor quality. I would give zero stars if I could. Horrible experience.
Done my 2 pairs of key cut there, found 1 of the key can’t use. Try to tell them and explained it. Not listening and keep told me both keys are same.really disappointed
Amazing hand engraving service - super quick process, helpful staff, and really impressive result! Thank you:)
Super friendly, competitive prices, quick turnarounds and always a quality job. The leather stain I bought there also dyed shoes beautifully when nothing else had lasted at all.
I had a great experience here today, friendly and quick service, correct mask wearing and check in code easy to access at entry, can't fault them.
I’ve had the soles replaced on my Doc Marten boots three times here. Each time the leather has been polished to look good as new again, the soles are comfortable and I get another couple of years out of my favourite boots. I’m always really happy with the work they do here and I’m so glad to extend the life of my shoes rather than just replacing them.
Worst customer service ever! Took shoes in to be repaired & asked the cost. I was surprised it was $29 per pair. The woman rudely said, "How much do you want to pay $5? " Wow wasn't expecting that response. As it turned out I came across John's Shoes at 661 Sydney Road, Brunswick. Lovely man, old school service, so incredibly polite. I had new heels put on 2 pairs of shoes & it cost $25 the lot NOT each pair. John did an excellent job & was so pleasant. I've already gone back with more shoes. Do yourself a favour & go see John.
Appalling customer service. Super expensive. Poor quality work. Unfriendly. Give them a miss. The owner chased me out of the shop to where I was unlocking my bike and abused me.
Very friendly and helpful service. I went to buy some shoe polish and have an extra hole put in the straps of a new pair of shoes (which they did free of charge!).
Absolutely thrilled with the repairs done to my vintage Oroton bag and ankle boots. Both were very worn and showed their age. The new strap on the bag matches perfectly in both colour and style AND they reused the original buckle! I greatly appreciate this attention to detail.
The boot heels were seriously worn down but they were able to rebuild them good as new. Both repairs were really reasonably priced and ultimately rescued two of my favourite accessories from the bin.
I've also previously visited to get keys cut and a new garage door clicker and have always found the staff to be very helpful and efficient.
Thanks so much for your fabulous handiwork, I'm so grateful!
I didn't like this store much the staff they more after getting money out of you than trying to help you and not friendly I would not recommend this store
I took two pairs of shoes here to be re-heeled and I am so impressed with the result! Absolutely fabulous workmanship and even better service. I will defiantly be returning and cannot recommend them enough.
Been going to them for ten years for keys, shoe repairs and gifts. Always great quality work and good to see them recommended by Evans in Royal Arcade. Highly recommend.
Staff, are always helpful and they do a great job repairing shoes, boots for men, women and children.
Very pricey and a bit slow. $42 for half Topy (no heel) on a pair of shoes, and it took 4 days.
This place never disappoints. They won't rip you off with your items.
Good selection of shoe care products and services.
Also get all of my keys, pet tags done here and its always done quickly and looks great.
Earlier in the day I visited On The Mend in Nicholson St to replace 2 swivel clips on my bag and shorten the bag's shoulder strap. I was quoted $50 and told it would take two weeks. I thought this was unnecessarily steep so I visited Condello and I was quoted $30 and it took 20 mins. When I came to pick up the bag, I was told I had been mistakenly quoted and that it was actually $24. Fabulous workmanship and service. Will definitely go back again.
