Community Support Frankston

I spoke to a lady who organised a meeting to speak to a Centrelink lady. The woman reached out earlier and helped me though it.
I called through today as I am homeless and required help and when calling back, was told that they made a package and last week and they had to unpack it all and it was a massive nuisance. I wasn’t even aware they had made a package which I had said, that she then dismissed that I had been told. And I responded with if I knew I had help of course I would have collected it. And she answered back extremely rudely ‘you can only apply for a package each fortnight so you miss out now’

I believe her name was Angela and she was the most nasty heartless woman I have ever spoken too.
Regardless of sleeping in my car, loosing my job and trying to provide food and somewhere warm for my daughter. She has just made Christmas time even more stressful and really made me loose faith in people that work in the industry that are meant to help people in need.

5 stars to Alex (Alexandra diadario looking girl. And also the girl which I never get to know the name, exotic girl, who says my first name extremely beautiful. And gemma. Not the dudes in there. They mad at me.

These fellas r so well appreciated by myself n my family thanks for the wonderful food n we get everything if they have meat they give it anyway This place Deserves a around of applause ten fold Top work And thank U once again so so much gratitude for Ur team

I’m a uni student and at some point I struggled with money so I went to community support Frankston and they kindly gave me food. I’ll forever appreciate it. I only went once. I’m in a much better financial state at the moment so I wanted to donate back but I’m not sure how: (

Great place assisting people who are struggling. Staff bent over backwards to assist the person needing assistance.

Friendly down to earth workers who make you feel comfortable and more positive about your future.

Now if you are on the pension and really need some help i 100% refer this place. They help people so much and are so supportive. I can not thank rhis place enough for everything they have done to help our family. Absoloutly 10 out of 10. THANK YOU GUYS

Got the courage up to call the number and was very lucky to get volunteer Trish. So friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. Great listener and got the help I needed straight away. An amazing service. ️

At the time of visit was actually walking past with a disability walking group and the community center had a free BBQ and small goods food and toiletries giveaway so we stopped by and were treated a free coffee and sausage sandwich and were given a choice of different types of small foods and a bag of toiletries which was very nice of the community center apart from that I did go here inside a while ago for help with housing and food vouchers at that time they were able to help with both. Currently I'm not real sure if that service is still available but I would dare say yes but I did need proof that I needed those two things but also be aware that with the current rental crisis, I'm not sure how well they can help with accommodation.

Amazing people brilliant workers there help is a great help for many people around the community

In 7 yrs helped me 3 times when I badly needed help. Thou a single mum with 3 boys. 1 small pizza for the night? My little one could eat that alone. I'm sorry but $80 voucher for 2 weeks of no payments for a family of 4? Nappies? I'm sorry it just done us a day. Spent the drive home crying

My family and I have had food help with these lovely people they are so kind and helpful. They have helped when we were at the worst possible stage of our lives and they made it so much more manageable.

Lunch served Mon-Tues Thurs-Fri from 12pm to 2pm. Wednesdays the Uniting Church in High st does a BBQ for locals while community hub does a mobile laundry service.

Call up before 11am to organise a food parcel or dinner because they'll be at capacity by the time they start handing out lunch boxes.

Friendly staff. A real treasure for Frankston to have this service for the people, these guys are fantastic.

If you need help and aren't sure where you can go. Call Community Support Frankston. If they can't do it themselves they will know who can. Don't be afraid to ask for help. We might be in our own boats but we all share the same sea. Peace & Blessings to you everyone ️

Great place great people offering a great service I can't say enough to thank these people they have helped me out tremendously during the lockdowns. God bless all of them

This is one of best ways to get fresh vegetables and fruit all the support staff were very helpful and polite
