Great meal and great atmosphere.
It was incredibly hot in there though. Didn't feel like the air-conditioning was working.

Great food and really friendly staff. Place was also very clean. Thank you, had a great family night out

Beautiful place to enjoy time with family and friends to celebrate occasions or just something to get together, enjoy beautiful meals at a reasonable price and go to the bar to enjoy some music from different bands and if you're lucky enough, watch some live concerts like Queen Forever.

I have always enjoyed meals at this Pub, however, tonight I was not impressed with being told it was 'now mandatory to order thru the QR code on the table. I was told 'everyone is doing it now' and 'if you have trouble we can help you'.
This is fine for people who choose to use the QR code - a personal choice.

I don't come out for aggravation
I don't want help to order a meal on my phone when dining out
I want the choice of placing my order with a person/paper receipt and
the Pub taking responsbility for my order
I am not in a fast food line or at home ordering uber eats

Unfortunately, I found the exchange with your staff member (who is only following instructions) uncomfortable when I requested a menu and not wanting to use the QR code.

We did use the QR code - time consuming/impersonal and felt like I was ordering home delivery.

This policy needs to be given more consideration or you will quickly loose patrons.

Very impressed with the service and cleanliness of this value. Food was quick and tasted great. Can't wait to return.

Staff are good at welcoming I have been having my birthday with my family members and no complaints about the food and service

80s night was a lot of fun, not too crowded, even though it was sold out and the band was awesome

Went here the very first time since the place burnt down many year ago and stood standing as a shell for many many years. On first appearance on entering the main dining room, it was very short on customers and seemed like a empty barn. However from there things picked up. The staff were both very professional and friendly. There service and attention were excellent. As for the food it was delicious. I got my standard Parma and the other half peppered calamari. I enjoy writing reviews like this one. If you read my other reviews they are not always good and I have no connections or ties with this hotel.just stopped in for lunch prices were on average for a hotel

We had a Senior’s group who went for lunch. The food was great as was the service. We got a warm welcome and were seated in a quiet area as we requested on booking. The atmosphere is lovely in the old dining area and we will come again!

First time here and was not impressed as they stuffed up our order and we had to wait a long time for the meal to even come out, would not recommend at all! Thought this place would be better and even had better meals elsewhere

The meal i ordered was small for the $28 i payed the chicken breast was beyond small.
The other meals are a good size.
Drink selection behind the bar were limited but the staff are great.

The Porterhouse steak which I ordered medium rare was medium, dry and hard. Mushroom sauce was gluggy, not much taste. Chicken scaloppini cream was salty and vegetables were yellowish and overcooked.

Dont bother going with all the covid restrictions, it ruined the whole experience, menu had only 6 items to choose, you cant even go for a smoke in the outdoor areas or even sit out there, constantly asked about a mask even with a medical exemption, never going back until its back to the way it was, dont waste ur time

Good customer service Jack Daniels and coke there's more Coke than Jack Daniels food very bland won't be going for a long time

LATEST: Noon Sunday 16 Feb 2020: Again, 2 great steaks and chips crunchy on outside and fluffy inside - this time scotch, perfectly cooked as always.matched with beautiful buffalo wings (heaps of) and well chilled champagne. Great dining once again

PREVIOUS: ordered 2 rib eye steaks cooked medium and both were perfectly cooked and served by cheery and professional staff - just wish the garlic prawns was served as a: 'side" rather than a "topping" as garlic sauce and pepper sauce don't really go together - and the chips were crunchy and fluffy as they should be

Meals were meddling to disappointing.

I had the Salmon. The hollandaise was ok, the salmon was ok, the vegetables were basic mixed steamed vegetables and the mash was odd in texture as if reheated or made using an instant mix. The salmon itself was tasty with a crispy skin. The mash was different to the one served some months back which was far more as expected.

My wife had the roast pork. The pork was the processed supermarket kind, but cooked ok. The vegetables were steamed. The roast potato and pumpkin had the appearance of not having been left long enough.

Service was good and quick.
