Comfort Inn Bay City

Due to circumstances out of our control we were unable to go on our holiday and the manager there was very unreasonable in our request to move our date to a later date in the year. It is a government policy that we not attend not our choice. I would not recommend this place to anyone, manager very rude to both myself and my partner.

Was only there for a pit stop before driving back to Sydney. Was clean and staff were friendly.

And only one towel per person!
Very comfy beds!

Payed to stay in the hotel at 9.30pm they closed at 9pm happy to take my money and as I never ended up staying she has refused to refund back the $120 she was absolutely rude about everything. The hotel from the front looks old and grundgy. DONT PAY IN ADVANCE YOU WONT GET YIUR MONEY BACK. Hotel R around the corner is a new hotel and cheaper. Staff are great there. Bay city is not a place you want to go to. I’m now working with my lawyer to get the refund back

The Superior Queen room was lovely and clean, modern facilities, and the room was spacious. Staff members were very friendly and accommodating, they made us feel very welcome. Location was great, walking distance to restaurants/bars/cafes.

I don’t recommend this motel. The final straw was being woken up by the people above us showering at 3am, could literally hear everything from as soon as they turned on the shower to them dropping the soap.
Paper thin walls. Avoid being downstairs if you can, you will hear all the footsteps, cars driving in, car doors closing, doors opening and closing as well as every single toilet flush. The blinds don’t knock out all the lights so you’ll catch a glimpse of every light at night.
I didn’t like the fact that all my card details were written down on paper including ccv. The room itself isn’t too bad, bed was basic, sheets weren’t bad, it all seemed pretty clean besides the remotes, there seemed to be a lot of dirt in between the buttons. The location is very close to town, just a shame that the room being so thin ruined it. Also wifi isn’t free.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Helpful friendly staff. Lovely and quiet area in central business district. An easy walk to foreshore and restaurants. Can thoroughly recommend.

Don't imagine that this is a view that you get from this place. It is comfortable but fundamental as motels go. Reasonable value for money.

You people are little indian dingleberries! Was a great experience, walkable to 711. Slurpees were fantastic

Awesome location close to cbd, 2 blocks from the waterfront and easy walk to various pubs, cafes and places to eat. Located on a main road, but very quiet and easy to miss the driveway if you're not looking for it. Excellent price for the location and compared to others in the area. I read before booking that the rooms were refurbished 2 years ago, and they were. They styling is modern, sleek and clean, and I really like it. This is one of the cleanest motel rooms I have ever stayed in. The cleaner wasnt quite funished qhen we arrived to check in, but that was no issue to us as we wanted to stretch our legs with a walk after a 6 hour drive. The cleaner and office staff were extremely apologetic and the service was excellent. The queen deluxe room is a good, comfortable size and the bed super comfortable. The foxtel works and the instructions for use in the folder are clear and easy to follow. We will definately stay here again when we come back to Geelong.

It newly painted, we stayed 2night and it was windy, so leave flew inside the room. Next day we came back after 5pm the bed was tirdy but the floor wasn't vacuum. Cobwebs on the light and no spoon to make coffee/tea.

A basic motel in an excellent position, close to city centre and the waterfront. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size and modern. Did not appear to be a breakfast menu that I could see, no problem though lots of cafe's around. Only downside was the fridge was not working properly.

This place is located close to the beach (10 min walk) but also you can walk to the Mall to shop or eat.
Parking lot has little parking spots so you kind of need to squeeze in there.

Room was decent with a mostly clean bathroom.
Room itself was ok.
Just what you get for your money is not super great. Price we had was equal to a 4 star hotel but this is a motel.

For a greater price I'd go there again. For the same price no.

The Woman at the reception was kind and nice a will give you a warm welcome.

Rubbish left from previous people not cleaned up. Pricey for the lack of care
factor when reception told about it.

Owners are fantastic super helpful got us to where we needed to go. There showers are off the hook. Best shower I've had in forever. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The place is old but its a good one. Defs would stay here again if in Ballarat.

Very comfy and had everything you needed in the rooms, the staff left me alone and that's good because I wanted to relax! Good place to chill.
Staff was lovley and helpful anytime I called the front desk and time they answered and came to my room within a 10 min time frame:)

Nice clean motel, well renovated and friendly reception. Pretty cheap so its very good value for money. Would stay here again.

Great inexpensive motel. Clean and comfy. Looks like they have recently renovated the rooms. Staff friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.
