Comedy Republic

The comedy mecca of Australia. I've laughed here more per dollar than all my years attending the likes of Adelaide Fringe or big international acts combined.

Comedy republic was so funny that I nearly burst a lung I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard in my life I ended up going there twice and the ticket sales were so worth it the next time I'm coming to Victoria I'm going to visit comedy republic again.

Tough climbing those stairs with an injured foot!
Bar area was fun but it would be beneficial to indicate more clearly that a small food selection was available.
Show was average although the last of three comedians He Huang was the highlight of the night.

There's nothing like a relaxing evening full of laughter and fun. Enjoyed being entertained by Nath Valvo. Still smiling!

This venue is fantastic. A great selection of drinks, a rotating roster of incredible comics and such a good vibe. Highly recommend popping in for a laugh or a drink or both.

Comedians were great.unfortunately they stack the chairs too close to one another.felt like I didn't have alot of personal space.

Great comedy venue where you will always be near enough to run risk of an audience participation routine.

Joel was amazing so funny! But the male behind the bar wasn’t very helpful, there is also limited alcohol which i get but if someone recommended something fruity they’d get that, but i paid a lot for beer …. That was very disappointing, also only being 2 toilet so waiting a long time after a show ….

A fun and friendly, intimate venue in the heart of the CBD. Have seen countless hilarious shows and comedians here. Can't wait to return for more kicks n giggles

A wonderful venue right in the heart of town dedicated to supporting the comedy industry. Welcoming staff, a fantastic range of non-alcoholic drinks for non-drinkers, and a consistently fresh range of quality comics on stage (spanning from familiar names from tv and radio to your new undiscovered favourites)!

Fantastic! This venue is fab! Super intimate and cosy. Love the bar area downstairs for a pre show drink too.

Great lineups and fantastic bar to relax in before and after the show. Looking forward to spending more time here! The comedy club weve been waiting for!

Been there three times now and never disappointed, it does get suffocating because the room is quite small and when its housefull it gets really hot. But the comedians are great fun.

All the larfs, great vibed chill space, can get a little stuffy in the bar but the upstairs portion is iconic and intimate

What a fun night. Venue is clean, simple and spacious. The upstairs room is the perfect size for comedy as where ever you are you are able to engage with the show. Drinks were reasonably priced and all the staff were helpful and friendly.
