College for Adult Learning

I have just completed a Double Diploma of Quality Auditing and Business Compliance through the College of Adult Learning. I cannot recommend CAL highly enough for making the studying journey easy to navigate, for the support provided by wonderful coaches and high quality resources. Marissa in particular was a fantastic coach who provided support, guidance and encouragement in a non-nonsense way - I don't think I would have got through it without her on my side. Thank you!

I’ve been studying with CAL for 6 months now and I am enjoying my course and the support I am receiving for the course. I’d actually previously enrolled and I didn’t complete my course due to personal factors, but when I explored the idea of re-enrolling Stephanie was really helpful and encouraging. Since then I am 5 units in and the support I get from Kerrie as one of the coaches is outstanding. She is so helpful, very informative and supportive. The only thing that I would say I struggle with is when you need support you usually have to wait at least a few days for availability for a call or return email. I understand there are lots of students, sometimes you’re unable to move forward with questions until you’ve spoken to someone which can be frustrating when balancing a work/study schedule. Overall I am enjoying the experience with CAL and the content and content formats they are supplying!

I had a great experience undertaking this course. The CAL team were available to assist me when I was unsure of my next steps. The content was extensive & different methods of learning really assisted me via videos, being able to use my workplace experiences and 1: 1 support. A big shoutout to the coaches that provided direction & kept me on track. I recommend this course for anyone wanting to enter the managerial environment or, like me, wanted to support my previous experience with a certification. Thanks CAL!

I was talking to amazing consultant Stephanie regards to my course, as I was confused which course I wanted to do, she has been most helpful by far in regards to understand which course would be suitable by clarifying my questions and taking the time to, very happy with her service, very informative.

My husband signed up for some b@ll$h! T course with this company and they lied to him before his admission. He specifically said before admission that he would only enrol if no online or video exams were required in the courses, because of work commitments he wouldn’t be able to do video or online courses during the day. The representative with this company was only interested in signing him up to an unfair contract and lied and said that there was no video or online exams. The very first course had video exams. Further, they never made any attempt to make sure the course was relevant to him and that he was assessed as actually being able to complete the course, as required by the standards for any registered training organisation. This type of practice is unethical and unprofessional, which is key to the standards that are legally obliged to follow. Further, any training organisation that is not eligible for HECS or other govt support AVOID AT ALL COSTS, they are just scam artists in plain sight.

Terrible service and response to money related issues. I opted to pull out of this course 1 week after their grace period as I had to care for a family member indefinitely. But instead of showing compassion they have taken 18 payments of $205 since then. Pretty hard to pay since I haven't worked since then.

I have just completed Cert IV & Diploma in Human Resources.
The portal was user friendly and my queries were answered in a timely manner.
Marissa was fantastic, she was very helpful throughout the duration of the course.
I can highly recommend CAL for anyone looking to study.

This rating is purely based on my experience with Marissa L. I have had difficulties with other coach but then I found Marissa. I'll try to keep it short, however Marissa L is the best learning coach that I've encountered whilst my study with CAL. I am so grateful for all the support, encouragement and help I received from her throughout. She is a very kind and considerate towards the time and efforts students put in. She is extremely organised and very responsive. She offers many additional advices/tool to help with the process and she definitely goes out of her way to ensure students are getting what they need. I would highly recommend Marissa L to everyone who are struggling in their course at the moment or taking course with CAL. I would have given 1000 stars if possible for Marissa L!

Don't sign up to this course if you are expecting a teacher to be available during the day you'd like.
To schedule a call with a teacher, you have to wait 5 days to be talk to anyone.
Emails go unanswered for days and then when they finally get answered, the response does not answer your question.
Chat function is useless as they just tell you to schedule a call.
During the course, you do little 'asignments' but there are zero examples to help you along with this.
Videos are not done locally and just 'found' you YouTube.
All the above is delaying my studying. I work full-time and now have to work around a teachers schedule instead of working off my schedule. I've asked to pull out and be refunded but you're unable to be refunded. I'm really unhappy with this course.

I have recently completed my Diploma with CAL. Originally I was intending to do a Double Diploma however I found the Project Management content was very outdated, however, with the new refresh of content in the last 12 months I have found CAL certainly picked up it's game. I had some great coaches - Kerri and Marissa - who really helped me. Loved the flexibility of self paced study.

CAL was easy to deal with and made learning easy. Marissa was especially great with support and advice throughout my journey. Thank you, Marissa:)

I can honestly say I wouldn't have finished my Dip. L & M without her encouragement and guidance.

Easy to navigate platform with constant updates to provide the students the most up to date and easy to use curriculum. The assessors I dealt with were knowledgeable, helpful, patient and without them, I wouldn't have gotten the pleasant experience or results I did. Special shout-out to coaching staff - Nasser and Marissa, who I leaned on quite a lot for assistance.

I just recently completed a Diploma of Building & Construction Management with the College for Adult Learning. I would highly recommend this course to all who want to further their knowledge and careers in this industry. The course material was relevant and practical for use in real work situations. The learning coaches were also extremely helpful and always available to assist. A big thank you to my main learning coach Marissa and also to Robyn for going above and beyond to support me. After 2 years I have completed a Double Diploma of Building and Construction Management and Project Management. There are no other RTO's where you can do this and undertake work at your own pace in your own time. I have seen the online platform and case studies improve greatly over this time and highly recommend anyone who wants to study to consider CAL. Massive thanks to Nasser, Marissa and Wendy who were my coaches over this time.

Do not under any circumstances study the Diploma of Practice Management through this organisation. Irrelevant course content, when concerns are raised you are treated like a number. So disappointed.
