Coles Richmond Icon reviews
62 Have been shopping daily at Coles in Swan Street, Richmond, for over a year now. Seems very well run and well-stocked. My highest praise, however, goes to the staff. Incredibly helpful & friendly. I enjoy shopping there.
The only thing I don't like is the frequent presence of beggars who sit at one or both Coles entrances with all their junk - which is both ugly & unhygienic. That's not the fault of Coles, nut it does make things a tad more unpleasant.
Anyway, once you're in.it's a great place to shop.
Always somebody at the doorway entrance and exit begging for money. Very off putting each visit. Avoid.
Now who can do without coles and there mark down prices.down down prices are down.keep up the great work coles staff.
I really feel bad for the customer service they provide.
Service desk women that i dont know name
(some indian with black specs, short stature.). When been there for a exchange and tried explaining that product i took was not taken much far but a street adjacent to it. Had to listen I"DONT CARE". Thats rude coles must train this kind of people in better customer service.
Good variety of fresh and processed products, usual of Coles! The checkout is really efficient owing to the friendly and helpful staff.
Despite parking being quite limited, the shopping experience is not significantly affected, simple and pleasant.
Superior range of grocery products / SKUs. Avoid the "fresh" produce section - the fruit & veg are usually NOT fresh.
Refused a raincheck on the basis the item wasn't in their site specific catalogue by the night front desk staff member.
Despite the the online and shelf price were advertised as a sale item.
Bulltish of the week award.
Several months later was given a raincheck by another staff member without question, or being made to feel like a beggar in the exact same scenario.
I suggest the staff actually read what the Raincheck actually states.
Gratefully for the service, kind lady helped me when I dropped my armful of groceries.
THANK YOU!
One of the best and most comprehensively shelved stores I've ever visited. Logic and function ftw
Just love Cole's Richmond. So close to pretty much everything, had great fish n chips on same street, then a massage. And last but not least. Late night grocery stuff a where else. COLES. Triffic, Chris.k
I found what I was after without fuss, and the queue for the checkout was pretty quick. That's all I really want from a supermarket.
ONE OF MANY COLES SUPERMARKET OUTLETS
This one is housed in an ornate old building once occupied by Dimmeys - a piece of Richmond culture from yesteryear!
The supermarket is large, has good selection of fresh produce and has a liquor store attached.
It's always nice an clean, and they have what I'm looking for when I need it. It would have to be the best store's, good work Coles Richmond.
I find the store clean and bright, but the layout drives me nuts. Also, their selection of fresh fruits and vegetables tends to run out, so I think they struggle to keep up stocking the displays. For example, tonight there were tonnes of broccoli but no red capsicum. At the nearby Coles on Bridge Road, ample supply of both.
Standard letter size Coles. Layout optimised so stakes are at opposite ends of the supermarket to make you purchase more than you thought you needed
Great coles with a convenient parking location. Only issue is you have to pay at least $30 for free parking whereas the Woolworth on chapel st gives free parking with any purchase
Nice supermarket. It has what you need, but then again I loved it because i live in the city and always shopping at metros. Friendly staff too, always helps after a hard day at work picking up food for dinner. Will be making this a stopping point on my way home from work from now on.
Nice supermarket, big enough to get anything you may need.
The customer service is always good, whenever i ask the staff they will always be kind and helpful.
I love the nuts self service in there!
Not the biggest store but location is convenient. Feel sorry for the staff having to deal with plastic bag questions at the moment.like people have been in a coma for 6mths and didn't expect not to have to bring g their own bags!
It's a freakin supermarket with shelves and fake beggars out the front in summer. The usual inner city shop. What else can you say.
