Coles Essendon reviews
53First time I've been here for sometime. The Reno has opened up the store and the selection is pretty good for a small supermarket. Have a bit of a sweet tooth, so really appreciate the options in the bread area.well done
This is a very small Coles and so has limited stock.
I try and like it. But the parking can be a nightmare, and the place seems to attract the BMW-driving soccer-mum's along with their Lycra-wearing-project-manager husband's. Yeah, just a mean and entitled atmosphere. I avoid now days.
Regular coles, difficult to get into parks, mediocre range of products, they didnt have any coffee mugs
Always go here for quick shops, has all the basics and sale items. Parking is minimal though, especially at main times for dinner or lunch at local cafes/parks
This Coles store is small but it has variety of local products which other Coles stores do.not display. This is a little gem hidden in Essendon north. Must shop here if you are nearby.
A smaller Coles but it has all the basics. A great Coles for a quick visit because the store only has 8 aisles so its easy to find what you need. The parking may be a problem during peak times so it's better to visit at odd hours.
What a terribly tired old Store.
An ex BiLo store that has been converted.
Limited choice, no deli, just very average.
The team members are great which is the only thing going for it.
Woolworths at the top of Keilor Road has just been renovated and will be getting my weekly shop now.
I don't understand why you need to close your self service section so early.
Yes, there are staff to help but they refuse to pack stuff into my bag unless I actually buy a bag.how nice!
I prefer to pack my own stuff but please leave self service open. Thank you
It's an intermediate capacity center where it's larger and offers more items than a Coles Express (@Servos/fuel station) but much smaller and cut down of the products available when compared to other Coles ssuperstores.
This ouxkd be harsh as I've only been here once, but surely the staff could do with some smile and making customers welcome.
A small Coles mainly for essentials, but has a good range, is well stocked and very clean. And has the friendliest supermarket staff I’ve ever encountered - always greet you with a smile.
It's a really small Coles compared to other locations. There isn't much variety of products and brands
The recent improvements here are life changing especially during these challenging times. Going in, this store is now almost always in stock of essential items.
First time in there, I'm more of a Woolworths shopper but this one is better set out than other Coles in the area. Good selection at reasonable prices too.
Friendly produce and tasty staff. Recent improvements due to uncertain times have enhanced the aura of this store. Well done the Coles people
Smaller store with selves less packed than Monee Ponds, none the less it was easy to shop and familiar isles.
A smaller coles, but has the essentials and a bit more. Staff are great, friendly and helpful. It's a regular destination for me.
I have used this supermarket for many years. The staff are professional but it is unfortunately too small. Essendon Fields or Moonee Ponds are better alternatives. It is my hope that this store renovates and expands so that I can give it 5 stars
A tired and forgotten store in the Coles Supermarket network in desperate need of refurbishment, or failing this, closure. With limited aisle space this store had limited product choice. The site size is much better suited for the competitor Aldi. Shop here for essentials only, and go to the larger and refurbished Coles stores in nearby Essendon Fields or Moonee Ponds as a preference.
Customer service is appalling. My two interactions in 15 minutes were astonishingly negative: when I pointed out the huge puddle of spilt milk in the milk refrigerator, the staff member openly complained about me telling them as now they'd have to do something and didn't want to clean it up; when at the self-service checkout the staff member there to assist customers deliberately ignored customers, instead prioritising talking to a friend.
The worst Coles in the area. Hard to get to, bad carpark, limited range due to the small cramped size. Go the extra 5 mins down to Moonee Ponds central.
