Not happy, I have complained 5 times now because there has been no trolley wipes when you walk in the door.

Never have registers open between 8am to 9am, always made to feel like an inconvenience if you have a trolley with more than 10 items at this time as a register has to be opened, much to the staff disgust, always long waits whilst they do this. No self serve. Today had two reduced items removed from me as no longer should be available according to staff member, and that is the customers fault? Then had no idea where the alternatives were available in the shop when I had to go back in to retrieve a new version of the items removed from me which were being bought for a specific purpose. Didn't matter in the end found them easily in my new supermarket.

The only thing you don't stock is cabanossi, the kind you sell in NSW. (Looks like a giant Frankfurt) customer service is always amazing.

The car park is so ridiculously small, it was difficult to get out without having an accident. The disabled parks are further away from the entrance than any other shop and the parking bays aren't even long enough to fit a mid sized SUV.

Great store! Plenty of parking, including under cover for bad weather. Nice clean store, well stacked shelves and freezers. Staff are competent, polite and practice good hygiene, which is always a plus when purchasing food.
Recommended over other local supermarkets!

Typical Coles supermarket, have had good experiences here on the few occasions I’ve come here and staff are pretty friendly at the self service checkouts.

I recently experienced the best customer service at Coles Echuca. The Produce manager, Adrian, went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure I had the freshest and most gorgeous roses delivered the day before my wedding day and he didn't disappoint. He deserves to be congratulated and recognised for his outstanding effort and detirmination to ensure I had the flowers when I needed them. The roses opened in perfect timing with our day and we received so many compliments on them. Thank you Adrian!

** Not real names as I've forgotten.

A Team member (Let's call her '*May') 14/12/18 @ 11am - working in Self-checkout zone, shouting three ailses over to Cashier No. 1 - "Hey *Gypsy! " very obnoxiously, turning several heads.

*Gypsy was serving a customer, & was in quite an engaged conversation, regarding a product being purchased, but also, obviously, hadn't heard the call.

30 seconds later *May shouts again. "Hey Gypsy! "

This time * Gypsy heard, turned slightly to acknowledge the call, then returned to her customer.

30 seconds later. *May shouts again. "Hey Gypsy! "

This time *Gypsy excuses herself to her customer & turns to give *May her full attention. *May then says "*Gypsy - see me before you leave. " & walks away.

I concluded that *May must have been *Gypsies supervisor, & she needed to get that message to *Gypsy without leaving her station.
What I don't understand is why not pick up a phone, pass a message via another team-member, or even courteously waiting for *Gypsy to be 'Available', or at least not in a conversation (with a customer), before getting the message across.

The checkouts were all packed, at least 100 Customers witnessed this rude & unnecessary exchange, *May has poor social skills and worse management skills, & I would reccomend a HR 'people skills' upskill @ the very least, if not a shift by shift Team Building Day, learning team coherence, 'busy-environment communication' & a 'customer satisfaction first' - management approach.

This is not the first time, but the third time, that I've been thoroughly Gob-smacked by the way Coles Echuca staff have been spoken to by *May in my presence in or around the cigarette buying area:
A.in front of other staff
B.in front of customers

On one occassion, after * May had walked off I needed to console a young cashier who was nearly in tears. (it was over a log book issue- someone not signed in.)

This kind of passive-aggressive, power-mad management style breeds a hostile work environment, leading to higher rates of attrition, & fake "Sickies" in immediately affected staff, and may cause customers to shop elsewhere to avoid witnessing such conflicts.

Not a pleasant place to shop.
