Cold Rock Ballarat Ice Creamery reviews
28Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good selection of ice creams. Amazing cakes, would reccommend over IlPiccolo just down the road, they are trash.
Always a good snack. Love their icecream cakes and variety of flavours! Can be on the more $$ side
I’m sitting on the fence with Cold Rock. I find most people either like it or not. For me, the cost of $7 for a small tub of ice cream with my choice of sweet treat fillings is out of my budget range. As a parent of 3, if the 4 of us went out for a snack it could potentially cost me $30 - $40 depending on what they ordered.
I ordered a vanilla cup with only a few fillings and although tasted good - I still balked at the price.
Staff were lovely and very helpful in making my choice.
There is seating inside. Cake catering available.
Notes: wheelchair accessible, kid friendly, parking out the front.
Love this place oh the wonderful wonderful different types of ice cream and the ways to eat them. Go go go fantastic friendly staff yummy yummy ice cream
I absolutely coming here for a special treat. The ice creams and mix-ins are quite expensive but definitely worth it. Sometimes a bit of a wait but the staff seem nice.
Great quality ice cream with almost too many flavours to choose from, with the added bonus of lollies to mix in as well! Friendly customer service along with seating makes this a perfect place to take the kids (or just yourself) for a treat on a hot day.
Came into cold rock ice creamery, some guy working there asked me to “scream for my ice cream”! What a creep? His shirt suggested that i had vigorously drank the night before as it proclaimed “Smashed? ” He threw his shoe at me and told me that he’d finally got me? And that his nights of Clive hunting were over. How rude. To describe the ice cream boy, he was tall i guess with hair? He was certainly the most mediocre guy I’ve ever seen in my life. I had never predicted that someone could have a heat attack before 20 jsut by looking, but today i realised i could when i saw him. He asked me what a frappe was, and told me he doesn’t know where to put the bananas in a sundae (i didn’t order bananas and/or a sundae.) I love the business and will make room for it in my campaign, but since he’s white I’ll give him a pass.
Best ice cream in the world. Great customers and a fanstastic and elaborate atmosphere. Love the workers except for the guy with the hair that was kind of tall. That guy was as mediocre as mediocre gets. When you think mediocre, his little name badge and his consistently neutral expression comes to my mind and stays there. He is the reason why I’m not prime minister anymore. I hate him. Him, and his mediocrity. Dye your hair or get a personality, DO SOMETHING to mend your apparently broken spirit. I was the leader of this country and you ruined it. You were so bland that I forgot your name. But I will never forget your little hair and the heart attack that you’re most likely to have when you’re 40. You astound me. Get a proper job if you’re ever able to. I will have nightmares about your neutrality - but you’re failing chemistry and doing OK in biology so maybe not. But the business itself was great and I completely recommend the ice cream. Not him though. Stay away from him.
