Nice decor since renovation a couple of years back, tasty food, friendly staff. Good food prices even if not a member.

Food beer battered fish was dry and stale. For the price terrible. Won't be returning. No flavour whatsoever. Think reheated from yesterday.

It's a pokie den. Candy crush for people who love giving money away. It does have a lovely little bar off to the left though.

Came here to check out the place on a Saturday afternoon with the family as I was curious about the place since the renovations.

The first thing that struck us was it wasn't a huge place size wise but it had all the regular areas, namely a cafe area for coffee and cake, sit down meals area and a pokies section.

I think it's pretty clear this place is primarily a pokies venue as most of the floor space is devoted to them. In fact most of the nicer views overlooking the Yarra is in the pokies section which is a shame as pokies players are less likely to care about nice views

The bistro area where we sat had a diner feel with booth seating. It wasn't really pleasant as you had no views and the atmosphere wasn't great.

Menu prices are reasonable and there are discount member prices if you are willing to sign up for free membership which I did.

Would I come here again? Probably not. Plenty of other places to grab a bite and drink.

Great staff, better than normal bistro food, great coffee. Excellent meeting place for folk new to Melbourne too.

Membership is easy and FREE. Members get good discounts and fun specialty nights.

(It's a pity the Keno kiosk has been moved to the Smoker's area).

Good for a quick coffee before heading in to Flinders station, well at least that's what I did The coffee was very good though, with a yummy biscuit on the side too.

Easy sign up to become a member and enjoy some benefits. Staff very helpful and friendly. Sara was great!
Sadly quite a small seating area, but all round Nice Central bar with pokies.

Good city water hole. It's like a sporting club with lots of gaming machines at back and bistro in front.a lot of profits go to charities, so your helping the community by having a beer here.
Good to see some people from the charities involved in footy tipping and members activity.
Complex is run by DOXA and they do it sufficiently.
The weekday receptionist is lovely and helpful with membership or just signing in for the day.

Friendly fast service & specialty dinner nights with cheap meals offer good value. Dont expect anything to be gourmet quality though food is on the average side.

Really enjoyed here. Not at all what I expected but the food was brilliant, so fresh, large meals but well priced. FUN. Staff were amazing, friendly and tried to be helpful, so great. I would go again!:)

Nice quiet venue in a busy part of Melbourne. If you're after pokies though, walk that bit further to the casino where you might have more luck

Great place to throw a few back before your train arrives. Dont turn your back on your drink though.

I love what they have done to this pub years ago it was a dive but now its been renovated and the staff are so friendly and the food is good

Very nice staff Heath does a great job. He is very friendly and his staff are also very good. The coffee is very nice.
