39Great food and Beverage, friendly staff and variety of pokies, non stop TV sport coverage.
I only have coffee here and honestly the barista should have spent more time at barista school on how to make a coffee properly and less time on how to be arrogant. Magic = zero stars, do not recommend
I never expected to find good food in this place because for me it looks a gambling spot. You can find here good promotion specially for people that like steaks. Thank you for the service and food.
If you are waiting for a late night train home, everywhere else is closed or not safe, this is the place to go for a beverage before your train arrives. People here are kind and gentle, the price is very reasonable and Flinders Street Station is right next door.
Wonderful friendly staff and even the security guy welcomed us with a smile. We will be back again, had a great time.
Great friendly staff, relaxing surroundings. I highly recommend, perfect place to catch up with friends and enjoy a drink. 10/10
Decent prices for drinks & food. Stopped in for a $12 cocktail on a Sat night, and enjoyed the live music playing.
A good spot to wait for trains & trams
Amazing atrium of a room with a fireplace. Friendly staff. Great retro music. Cosy place. Nice for the oldies, too. Great pensioner discounts for Mum. They do love Oz Rock on Sunday - DOES IT GET ANY BETTER? !?
Dropped in for a drink and meet a mate before the footy. Has been renovated since my last visit and still a pokies venue but the venue itself was pleasant enough with friendly staff. Decided to have a quick bite there too and had the Lamb Shanks which was outstanding. Will be back
Great pub and feed (really cheap for members) located at Flinders St Train Station pokies and bar open very late with the Cafe open during the morning if you can't sleep! Love the clocks beats crown Casino and my local when visiting Melbourne.
A very convenient place to catch up with friends. Staff are friendly and the good is fine a.nd reasonable. Like to have coffee overlooking the river.
A good place to see people go by and on the weekends cocktails are cheap at $10 a pop! Staff are friendly and efficient for how much they had to manage! There were some love music during the weekend too.
Seedy but iconic. Perfect for that quick stop off refreshment before meeting with those people you really didn't want to but feel compelled to. Sneak a quick fifty (the misses won't know) and then keep on your way cause you know your better then that.
They were one of the only pubs we found open after euro finals at 8am and welcomed a group of us in. It made our day
A beautiful setting, takes you back in time in the restaurant. Food was perfect.fish & chips lovely.service great.catch a train to flinders street go out to dinner catch a train home.so easy.definitely going back
The best welcoming friendly staff from the security personnel to FOH/BOH and floor manager/staff.
They all provide one of the best professional services going around.
They provide a great variety of tasty foods from bakery goods to full menu meals.
They provide a great selection of spirits and wines with good beers on tap aswel.
I love this place it has indoor/outdoor dining area's.
A fairly relaxed vibe and is a popular place for many be it daily weekly the odd occasion.
Being part of Flinders Street Station it's quite an easy place to come and go from via train or Swanston St/Stkilda rd tram networks.
Enjoy your visit there.
Stumbled across this place, took a punt when we checked their menu and noticed the security on the door. Perfect location, friendly, affordable and great tasting meals means we will be back next time we're in Melb. Totally exceeded our expectations. Might be bit boisterous during footy season for those who want a quiet meal but we loved it
Love the place! Not just coz I won fourteen hundg there.lol.
And that be it, was by me pushing the wrong button on the machine.haha.
O well, looking forward to playing blind more n more after that little muck up of mine!
O, and don't worry they've got a smoking section at the rear of the gaming room. For all you cigi smokers out there!
Thanks for reading
It was an afternoon out.but the menu was a bit "vanilla" 4 different mains and 4 different pizzas from memory. I know not to expect alot from a pub meal but there wasnt anything that wasnt deep fried, the usual fish n chips, parma & steak.
We had a great time here and the food was excellent. Having dinner in Melbourne CBD with a 2 and 5 year old is always hard however the easy booking system, the engagement of wait staff with the kids and the quick service made this a place.we will return too. The food was very well priced and delicious. Pub fare for sure but great taste and cold beer
