Always reminds me of my time in Tamil Nadu. Thanks for wonderful food. Mutton Madrasi is my favourite.

Would have been a zero if possible. You should increase the staff if you are intending to provide a decent customer service

Great place if anyone loves dosa especially. I had tried few times and it was always same.
Good food quality, hygienic place, great customer service. Totally satisfied, and it was worth what I had paid for.
I would recommend to those who loves south indian cuisine

It’s extremely stuffy and smelly in the restaurant there’s absolutely no air flow and a strong spice smell in the air that is not pleasant. Dosa were average nothing to rave about. Chilli paneer was the worst I’ve ever had. The music was good.

Delicious hoppers with curry, eggs and coconut milk is what you need to eat here on a Friday night. Quick and friendly service in this cosy eatery.

Used to come here all the time with family.
This night I invited my friends to show them South Indian Food.
9: 05pm I ordered 3 rotis and 2 dishes; paid first at the counter. Later my friends that seated separately ordered.

Within 5-10 mins they got the meals.
Reserved tables arrived later and got their meals. Still haven’t got mine
40 mins later still got nothing.
I had to ask them where’s my meal and they gave me questioned faces.

They found the dishes on the Hot food display and had made new Rotis. The dishes were rushed, getting dry and not consumable to eat. Decided to put into takeaway containers and left.

Friends told me that my food came to their table being denied and have not solved the unknown order. Waiters need to clarify this with their managers.

No formal apology. No complementaries. Poor Customer Service.

Last time I’ll visit Clayton Chettinad

You can’t miss this place if you love Indian Food. We went there last night and honestly, I have had food from Indian restaurants before, from several places in and around Melbourne but this is one of the best that you can ever have.
I had the best Paya that I ever had after many many years and when I left the restaurant, I left with a full tummy and a big smile because that’s what this restaurant provides.
Reasonably priced, but amazing taste!
The Idli was superb, with amazing Sambar and the tastiest chutneys.
Can seem little unassuming from the looks, but if you love Indian food, you have to try this place out.

Wish them all the best and hope they grow even bigger.

Best Indian restaurant I've been to the butter chicken is the best and they have a really cheap $10 lunch deal with curry Dahl and a soft drink I'm here at least once a week I love it.

Visited for buffet lunch on 21/02/21. Thoroughly disappointed as the food is not close to an authentic South Indian or Chettinad. Being a Chennaite, I thoroughly understand the real taste, quality for many of the dishes. The Vada dough was old, so there an element of sourness. The parathas were heated from frozen and not fresh. The veggies dishes were insipid. My family's feedback on Non-Veg is very similar. Suggest the restaurant owners to either cook per Chettinad food or change their name to an SriLankan/Indian restaurant. This will be the first visit and will try again if I hear they have improved. Best wishes

Decent place for south indian meals. The vada was good. The rice they serve for meals is as perfect as rice can get. The prices are also competitive. I should say the quantity of rice they give is less, but an additional bowl of rice costs just $3. So i guess its okay. It can be a bit of delay with a shortage of staff during peak hours.

Awesome food. Had dosa and after a long time had an "authentic dosa" and sambar. The food quantity and quality is good. Butter chicken for kids was mild and succulent. Kids enjoyed it. Will be back for more.

If Ben there couple of years ago, I dishes are less tastier than earlier, so they need to work on bringing back their authentic taste, don't ever order Hot chicken 65 gravy, just chilly hot not Indian spicy

The only place which can come close to the authentic restaurants in TamilNadu, India. Have tried many dishes here and they are just excellent. People running the restaurant are lovely as well.
