Classic Curry Restaurant reviews
72Worst worst worst worst worst worst food I had ever ate, the staff even does not know how to speak simple English language, I had visited first time here yesterday in evening, food was tasteless and stale, really disappointed, want to talk with owner, I do not think they can run their business in future, I do not want to give even one star out of 5
Hi i order mix vegetables and plain roti from this restaurant. And i want to tell you that never ever order mix vegetable from them it was totally rubbish no taste no vegetables only they added lot of carrots, peas, potatoes and 2-3 beans and and out of 5 rotis only 2 rotis were eatable and rest of rotis were raw. This is worse food i have ever had. No no
I have been coming here and getting takeaways since 2009. The food and service has always been great. Never really have had a bad meal, in fact on this night I asked for less rice, as my body doesn't seem to like this grain much these days. And there was just the right amount on the plate.
Butter Chicken is Always my go to, but the curry prawns were simply so yum, nice big and juicy. The meat lovers or the vegetarian plates are another go to, as is the mango chutney, garlic naans, and pappadums with yoghurt, and tamerin, "Devine! ".
I Wish they would play music in the restaurant, gets abit quiet when only a few people in. Plus it would set off a better ambiance if Indian music was playing.
Not worth your money. Ordered chicken and paneer curry with naan. Food did not taste good and it was too oily. Naan were rubbery and hard yo eat.
Even 1 star is more for this restaurant. Customer service is so bad. First 20 mins we, with other customers are ignored. Also, the lady at receptionist kept rolling her eyes when we asked for some spicy food. It was pretty hot they didn’t bother to ON AC/Fan. Overall experience is
Worst butter naan I ever had.no butter on the butter naan.it wasn’t expected.would never recommend anyone to visit this place again
Been here many times over the years, back in Melbourne, so was our first stop-it’s basic setting was familiar, staff are friendly-we order the Chicken Tandoori, a chicken Curry, butter chicken, chicken fried rice and plain naan and a butter naan-as usual, we were not dissapointed!
A cheap meal, basic setting and very tasty food-will definitely return!
This place does not disappoint!
I've had this many times and love it, but after dining in, it is even better!
I would actually give this place six stars if I could
Foods always great especially the butter chicken and the garlic naan very fresh and just the right amount of garlic
Had it from uber eats as a gift from a friend. I've never tried saag before. This is so awesome! We had butter chicken and fish curry as well. Garlic naan too. I always walk past but never thought to go in. I'll be walking in next time! Great taste!
Worst Indian food which I ever had. First of all I ordered Aloo palak through uber eats' but restaurant delivered palak paneer. Secondly, the paneer was hard as rubber and couldn't eat it. Sorry to say but had to through away the Palak paneer and Kadai paneer as my family was not able to consume those pieces of rubber.
I called restuarant to complaint but they were not apologetic, the lady on phone advised me to inform uber eats and she told me that they will provide me some complimentary dish next time.
To be honest I would never eat anything from here, not even if they offer me for free. I have never given such a bad review to any service or restaurant but I was forced to do so.
Wish I could give a zero star.
Uber eats order number#47D69. Ordered on 13 March 2020 at 20: 46 AEST.
Northern Indian Restaurant Open since 1995. Good quality food reasonably priced. They do take away and delivery.
I've been here about dozen times and not sure why, chicken has been undercooked and still cold in couple of occasions. The actual curry is rarely temperature hot - not sure what's going on there but it's a shame. They have everything just up the quality and food safety standard.
Ordered tandoori chicken today through menulog and the chicken was worm infested. Worms were literally falling out of chicken piece.
The lady on the phone just casually asked if want a refund.
Lady, stop serving this to anyone! It was not only gross but could lead to diseases.
They should better close down this shop than misleading customers. Items on the menu won't be the same as that you get on the table.
Went in looking for somewhere to study and have lunch and this place is amazing! You get so much yummy food for very little and the staff are really nice and inside is very cool. Would go again!: D
They mentioned fried rice in their menu and we were served yellow jeera rice with kebab pieces. First time in my life, I had a horrible fried rice like this. The chilli chicken was not the Chinese style rather a normal masala dipped curry. Overall highly disappointing
Best butter chicken on this planet! Love this place. Don’t think I’ve changed my order in 10 years.
This restaurant has a particular appeal when you walk in. A no frills place clearly with particular styling that will have you waiting in eager anticipation for the food.
However when the food came out we were a bit disappointed as it lacked the flavour and punch to be expected. The garlic naan was more like garlic chapati in texture
Overall still a decent dining experience given it is value for money at that price point
Ordered the family pack through ubereats. For 35$ it's a pretty good deal.
The rice and roti are very nice and fluffy. The curries so tasty, though I wish it was spicier.haha. Chicken tikka is a little let down. A tad dry but still flavourful.
Overall very satisfied with my Indian take out.
