My family and I had a wonderful dinner last night at Classic Curry! Best food ever!
I have been eating there since high school when it opened!
A must go!
Friendly staff and service and delicious food from people who want to ensure their customers are happy!
Kadaai Paneer, Chicken Vindaloo and and fresh Naan breads are the best!

Good indian place compared to others in a similar location.you guys actually know how to prepare indian food and properly spice everything according to the actual taste.just didnt fully enjoy the saag i ordered but everything else was brilliant.customer service is good also

Hi everyone I've been to the classic curry for more than a ten times as I really love this place and friendly people treat you with a loving smile on there face and coming to the food I really love there Thali non veg and it's really special to me because as I'm from Hyderabad my spice level are little high as per my request they prepare the food spice every single time and the food taste delicious every single time and it's one of the best place to have a best food in whole Melbourne please do visit and have a blast.

No better place in Melbourne City than Classic Curry for authentic Indian food. Absolutely worth the money and top notch food. The Panner Curry and Butter Naan are the best and highly recommended! Also a very clean place and very well maintained in terms of hygiene and cleanliness!

Disgusting food.please guys don’t waste your hard earned money on so called Indian food they don’t even know how to cook a meal. Please stay away from this restaurant.

Friendly service and great food. Single pack is good value - $20 for a curry, rice, samosa, papadam and soft drink. The samosa was the surprise stand out, probably the best I've had in Melbourne. Shop front has some real old school charm to it too

Have to wait for 1 and half hour for order and than for no reason got cancelled, this restaurant should be closed and goes to blacklist right now

I ordered the food at 9: 30pm with Uber eats paying their delivery fees as well, it said it would deliver around 10: 25 pm and was assigned with the delivery guy and was written that the order will arrive around 10: 30 pm, it was fine but then the order got delayed and went late till 11: 00 pm. Then the delivery guy was changed somehow and new delivery person was assigned by the time he could reach the restaurant, it was closed. It is very weird and obnoxious behavior of the uber eats and classic curry that despite of waiting for so long they cancelled my order and i had to again and again call the restaurant and keep chat with the uber eats! We are having exams that is why we order food and pay your delivery fees as well, if i will not escalate then you guys will not even bother to look into this matter and i will make sure uber eats also knows about this!

Good butter chicken but my slight complain would be it’s quantity. The takeaway only had 3 pieces of chicken and it costed $16.

ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE!
This was such an ordeal and terrible experience. Uber can be blamed for the fact it took over an hour and a half to arrive; but when it finally came the naan bread was missing (essential) and both curries were 80% sauce.
Actually two containers of curry sauce.
There was 7 (!) bite size pieces of lamb in the korma which my partner and I shared and quite literally 9 cubes of cottage cheese in palak paneer.

Worst food. Ordered delivery it was 20 mins late on the the top of waiting for one hour. I ordered value meal pack which was supppose to have 2 samosas but when i checked my order they were there 2 small fritters. They changed the order without even calling me or asking me. When i called them they said they didnt have samosas so they just gave fritters instead. Very disappointed.

RUDE & BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE
We asked if the dry manchurian (the actual ball ones not the gobi one) was available and the guy said yes. After waiting at the restaurent they gave our packed parcel and we could see it was gravy manchurian so they said it's semi but we said that we ordered dry so they asked us to wait for 5 min again while they made our order. The 2nd order was also the same gravy kinda so while they could read we were not happy with the order, the girl cook just said to us " it's okay if you don't want to take the take away order, WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO MAKE IT THE THIRD TIME. WE HAVE OTHER ORDERS". I choose not to pay for take away since they did not serve what I ordered and decided to leave. I came back from the door just to tell the girl about her sick behaviour and that I too don't have time to wait the third time for a clear order I gave. To which she gets FURIOUS instead of apologising for TAKING CUSTOMERS FOR GRANTED and argues "YOU think I have time to make that another time? YOU THINK THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE PAYING ME FOR? " UTTER BAD SERVICE FROM THE LADY WORKING IN SERVICE & HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.

Great restuarant treated me with respect as an Ubereats delivery person and made dinner for me (I happily paid) after I came back from working. Treat people with respect and you get respect back.
