Chrismont - Cellar Door, Restaurant & Larder

Amazing food and service. We felt like family from the moment we arrived. Can't rate Chrismont highly enough.

Awesome food, awesome wine, great service and amazing views.and in the upper king valley.even worth dropping in to buy a bottle or 2 and sit up at lake william hovell or by the king river.or head up to powers lookout or paradise falls

And who can bet this recommendation. 4yo baby Michelle gave the kids pasta 2 thumbs up and said mmm.better than MacDonald's

Chrismont is an exceptional winery, with incredible wine and the most delicious food! Most importantly, however, the staff are friendly, caring and welcoming. They go to every length to make everyone’s experience special. My partner and I love the winery so much, we got engaged here

We are foodies and really appreciate good quality food and wine - I have consensus amongst my friendship group that Chrismont is the most impressive winery in the King Valley!

Delicious food, great affordable wine, and the same care you'd receive heading to your Nonna's house for lunch (with an added spectacular view)

Me and the family went for lunch a on the 27/12/20.
The architecture of the building was brilliant both in terms of the layout and location.
The views are spectacular as well!
With all this said, you worry that the food wont meet the same levels as the presentation of the restaurant.well they hit that out of the ball park as well!
The food was amazing, great balance between presentation and flavour.
I tasted 6 dishes and not one failed in terms of flavour. And the sizes of the meals were very filling.we all rolled out of the restaurant full as googs!
The wine tasting area was clean, modern and roomy and the staff behind the counter were happily busy serving patrons with a wide selection of grapes to try.
To cap off the experience was the service.
Down to earth, friendly, happy to chat and not pretentious as you would expect with a professional looking eating environment as you might find in the Yarra Valley in the CBD. And there was one lady (who seemed to be the mother or wife of the wine maker) who was constantly making sure everyone was happy and enjoying their meals.great Italian hospitality!

So overall. 5 stars

I hope that one day they can seal that road up to the restaurant because not unless you have a 4WD, the road can be a bit harsh for smaller cars.but I'm sure they have this already planned for the near future.:)

Always exquisite menus and high quality wines. Always our number 1 place to frequent in the King Valley. Wonderful attentive staff also adds to a pleasurable experience.

The food there is amazing and the environment as well. Sitting there taking in the beautiful views. Also being served by lovely staff that take pride in their work.

Their wines are amazing too and are at a very good price.

Great variety of wines for tasting. Superb location for lunch. We had the most beautiful meal and wine with an amazing view. The staff were so nice and friendly. Overall a great experience.

This is an outstanding restaurant hidden away in Cheshunt overlooking the amazing vines and king river. Menu and dining experience was easily one of the best of my life. Hit the road and visit king valley.
