Been coming here my whole life, wouldn't go anywhere else for fish n chips. Chips are always cooked perfect, its all cheap, great potato cakes and usually they chuck in an extra. Really friendly people. Highly recommend

Was told 20 minutes. Arrived at 25 just to be safe. A little while later while waiting in their fine establishment I decided to quickly duck off to the 90 mile and caught some flake. On the way home I also did a round trip for some Thorpy spuds. By the time I’d got back, prepped the fish, peeled the spuds and threw them all in their fryers to speed up the process I’d gotten my food 57 minutes after ordering!

In all seriousness though, the food was soggy, soft and rubbery. Absolutely flabbergasted!
Would not recommend!

This is the second time recently I've got fish and chips and been disappointed with the quality. The chips aren't cooked properly, they were soggy and almost cold, and the fish was over cooked and dry.

If you want fast food, this is not the place to get it. It takes an easy half hour every time. The food has always been good but the service let's them down.

The service has gone down hill recently, I’ve been a longtime customer but will never return. After waiting over a hour and half for our order to be delivered it was missing the hamburgers, so I rang the store and it took a further hour and 20 mins for them to finally deliver them, so all up 3 hours for us to receive our full order.
If you’re looking for a fish and chip shop with slow service that is happy to take your money but leaves out a third of your order this is the place to go.

I have been here about 10 times and the quality of the food and service varies dramatically. Sometimes you get the best fish and chips around, and other times it's not suitable for a dog.

My most recent 2 visits have not been very good at all. The first of these was way too greasy and made all of my friends and I feel sick shortly after eating. The second time everything was good except the chips, which were some of the worst I have eaten from a fish and chip shop.

My previous experiences here were amazing quality food, but it definitely feels like it is on a downhill trend.

As for the service, it is terrible. If you call and order they say "20 minutes" and you arrive in 20 minutes only for them to put your food in the fryer as you pay and then have to wait 20 more minutes for your food.

Not only that, they only accept cash. No card. In this modern age when you can purchase a Square and connect it to a phone, or get an EFTPOS machine with minimal fees.

If you are feeling like gambling, go here. 1: 1 odds on whether you get good food, or you're better off going to Charcoal Chicken on Seymour Street.

Very disappointed. Did an online order for delivery, website stated delivery time will be ‘up to 90 minutes’, I called after two hours and was told “they think it’s on its way”. The food turned up about five minutes later and was greasy, like it hadn’t been drained properly, and not well cooked. It was almost like they realised the order was still there and rushed the preparation of it. It’s sad because I‘ve had the food from there before and it was quite good.

Love that their chips are fluffy but crunchy! Just what you want:)

Plus the seasoning is on point, didn’t even need sauce.

Walked in to place an order, stood there for about 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, it's not hard to say hello and even smile, come on people learn how to customer service ‍️

Best fish n chip shop around I will travel 30 plus kms to get fish n chips from here highly recommended great ppl so polite I take disabled ppl there and there treated well well done to the owner great business and great food always nice all the food never had a bad lot and always go there well done to the owner u do a great job

So disappointed. Fish was not fish. More like elastic bands! So much thick batter. Won't be back. Waste of money.

It says there open online but when U get there there closer this is not good since I live across the road I takes me less then a min to walk how do they expect people to buy stuff from them if there not open and what makes it worst it they don't change there oil

What I seen tonight was so disrespectful a disabled man in a wheel chair putting his order in and having a general conversation with the lady serving him

The owner walks out on the phone and tells him to hurry up and finish the order and move out of the way so other customers can order (only me and 1 bloke Waiting in no hurry) then walks off and continues the phone convo
The food is good but after seeing that I lost so much respect for the shop and owner

Chips are f&$$ing amazing and really good amount the guy who served me was very friendly

Tasty food, gigantic portions (especially the chips), food was prepared pretty quickly in spite of the massive queue of people placing orders on Good Friday. It's nothing fancy but it sure hits the apott when you're in the mood for fish and chips!

I would give 0 stars if I could, I felt bad even feeding this too my child and made her a sandwich instead, chips were disgustingly oily, go anywhere else in Traralgon

Food was good and tasty, website was easy to order from, However, service was terrible. Took 90 minutes for our food to arrive (website clearly stated 1 hour or less). This was quite disappointing.

Useless fish and chip shop, very very long waits, over cooked, always forget atleast something out of your order everytime, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere

I Have been going here for years but unfortunately will be going elsewhere in the future. Tonight I waited 2 hours for delivery double the time quoted. Then my food was way below standards, Fish was 75% batter very oily and just not a nice meal $40 not well spent.
