Chinese Visa Application Service Centre reviews
39It would be stressful serving people the way this visa centre is set up and sometimes the girls behind the counter can be a little short. However I've always been given good advice and get what I need in the end
They really are as helpful as they can be and it pays to read the website first and make sure you have everything you need photos copied.
Bad customer service ever.
I have tried to apply hong Kong visa and the lady at the counter said that, i better apply online for quicker service.
As i have explained to her that after May 2019, they are no longer accept visa online service, have to apply in person.
That lady still telling me that listen to her and go home and apply online.
I went home open the chinese embassy website and they said that i need to apply in person.
Shocking, someone work for chinese embassy and doesnt have any knowledge and tge attitude was so bad.
What a shame! Now i need to go back there again.
Wait more than 3 hours and paid $16 for parking fee, was told due to Last week National Celebration and not working for three days, hopefully getting improved with time being
They need more computers and printers at least two more. And how come no one pick up the phone, I mean forever.
Very bad experience, they don't help. They made me get 6 invitation letters and kept asking for more until I realised It a not worth it.
No helpful at all
Super helpful staff, very quick and efficient. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and could pick up a day earlier than expected! Very very happy! China here I come!
The customer Service is getting better but still need to improve specially some receptionist attitude it all depends on their mood i guess. Gd luck!
Worst service ever. As a Chinese I can't believe this is the quality of service my country have facing the world!
Terrible service.
Servers have no idea what they're talking about and there is zero customer service for when you have questions.
Going to Shanghai next week, so I needed a Visa. Dire warnings about waiting times, so I fully prepared, turned up with a laptop spare battery bottles of water sleeping pills etc. Total turnaround time from coming in the door two minutes! Fantastic service!
TIP.arrive around 2.30 pm and grab ticket. Closes at 3pm so all desks open to clear any backlog.
This is the first time in many times I have been to the centre that it was very efficient and had my application proceeded without any issues. I did have to wait over an hour before being served by that was because there was so many people infront of me and I didn't have an appointment (couldn't make one for today- Monday as it was full) so understood that I had to hope I could get in and an hour without an appointment isn't too bad. Once my number was called, the whole interaction took only about 10mins max and I was out of there.
Word of advice, please read every single word of the criteria and documentation requirements, otherwise like my many other attempts in the past, you will get knocked back and there is no negotiating.photo needs to be very specific size, plain colour clothes no patterns on a white or cream background.
Take photocopies of everything before you get there, otherwise you'll have to use their copier ($0.20c per copy). Either way, everything you need to know is on their website under documentation.
Good luck and see you in China.
Useless, unorganized and so very rude. I called to find out some information but the women I spoke to couldn't speak English properly and told me to look up the website for info then hung up.tried calling back immediately after only to find my number had been blocked.
HI,
WE ARE TRYING TO CALL YOUR CENTER FOR FEW TIMES, NO ONE PICKED UP FOR HALF AN HOUR. "MAIL BOX IS FULL" AS WELL.
EASY QUESTION: CAN WE PICK UP OUR VISA ON FRIDAY?
IT IS NOT EVEN MENTION THE TRADING HOURS ON THE PICK UP RECEIPT.
PLEASE UPDATE THOSE DETAILS TO MAKE MORE CONVENIENCE FOR EVERY ONE.
Pathetic customer service.given phone number is always busy, no one answer your call to assist you on call. “SORRY THIS MAIL BOX IS FULL” this is what you listen again and again.
Applied for Hong Kong visa via Chinese visa application centre, they holded my passport for almost 4 weeks until now. I haven’t heard anything from department. This is the worst embassy to get visa!
I wish i could give them 0 star
Super fast service.didn't have to wait more than about 3 minutes to be seen on drop off and pick up.very pain free
Vise only took three days and that was without making an appointment expect to wait a couple of hours
Was first time getting a visa there, the staff were very helpful.
Offer one suggestion make sure you all application forms filled out correctly will make the whole process that much smoother.
I paid for express service which mean I supposed to get my passport next working day. I did not receive an express service as they were not able to do so but still took the same fee from me.
