It is very convenient. There is also a free copy machine. The printer charges 20C. The materials were not fully prepared. I printed them here and submitted them for approval. I went to get the visa a week later.

The efficiency of applying for the visa was quite fast. I was very helpful with the pre-review materials. The lady who reviewed the documents was very serious and responsible in telling me what information I needed to complete, and also informed me of the time when I could continue to submit my visa application. The first application went smoothly, thank you staff for your help!

Bad customer service ever.

Tried to apply Hong Kong visa at the counter, the lady said that, I better apply online for quicker service.
As I have explained to her that after May 2019, they are no longer accept visa online service, have to apply in person.
That lady still telling me that listen to her and go home to apply.
I went home open the Chinese embassy website, it said that I need to apply in person.
Shocking, someone work for Chinese embassy and doesnt have any knowledge and the attitude was so bad.
What a shame!

Best to book online via their website for a Chinese VISA application - saves waiting 2-3 hours in a queue.

Surprisingly efficient. I got there at 8: 30am, be the 2nd person in the queue, not many ppl in the morning probably because of today is 1 day before Chinese New Year Eve. Went in and waited for other ppl that has booked appointment previously online for submission their application. But they are very efficient. It probably took 5 min for each person to sussessfully submit their form and documents. Soon, it’s my turn and I walked out at 9: 12am. Very glad that it wasn’t a lengthy process at all, providing that you prepare well.

The system works well and the staff genuinely seem to want to help. Got my visa in under a week with no drama. Waiting area is clean and relatively comfortable. Can get very busy here at certain times of the year though.maybe I was applying in the off-season. Still, a good experience. Easy to get to on the St Kilda tram route corridor.

Well organised. Didn't have to wait for too long. Staff were helpful. Worth going in and applying for visa in person rather than applying by mail.

I've been here a number of times now and every time it has been very easy. The staff are great and the wait times are nice and short.

So far havent had a problem with applying for tourism visa, and very little waiting time as well, i guess you just have to have all the documents and book ur appointment but the customer service is so weird, the workers make me feel like they were being held hostage there or something

Website information regarding documents required was not updated and the staffs are not very well-trained.

Make sure you book an appointment otherwise the wait can take forever. Also make sure you bring 20 cent coins for the photocopying!

The first time is always the hardest. So true when it comes to knowing how thisplace works. But now, I know what to expect. Get in before 12pm to get in line (no exception). Get a photocopy of your passport in advance because they will ask for it. Pay extra if you want to speed up the process, normall processing is usually 5 days. I had to go back with my birth cert (for my first application) because they wanted to make sure the phonetic translation of my name into English match up with the one on my passport. But if you only have English names, I don't think Birth Cert would be required. First timers only get single entry within 3 months for tourists.

No support, lack of communication because staffs cant speak English properly. Wasted a lot of my time here.

Very efficient.
Printing and photocopying facilities provided.
Coin operated photocopying if required.

I have been here twice for 2 visas, first time I needed to access email and print out an I'd card, and 2nd time I needed to photocopy my passport.
They have 1 computer connected to a printer you can use to access emails.
There was no cost for me to use the PC or printer.

Making an appointment gives you priority, I arrived at 9: 55 for my 10am appointment, got my ticket and at 9: 59 I was called up and processed, all done with my return ticket for passport pick-up and out the door by 10 past 10.

Time frame, for passport visa installed.
Wednesday drop off.
Monday pick-up.

It was a little unclear as to the information that was required. So we took everything we thought would be usefully, old passports, flight details introductory letter. The staff could not be more helpfull. There was a computer, printer and photocopier there for our use. We a arrived 1.5 hours early, but went straight in. It all proved very easy and straight forward.

I was a bit nervous applying for Chinese visas as I've heard they can be a bit picky. I didn't expect to go there in person, but for various reasons I did.
The lady who took my applications was friendly, helpful and meticulous. The whole service seems efficient and fast. I was able to get our visas the next day.
When I went to get them, it was quick and easy.
