Chilli India reviews
34I tried podi chicken and chilli fish and it was spicy and amazing better than other Indian restaurants you would come across in Australia. If you are looking for some spicy food you should try here.
I have ordered uthappam via uber eats and the chutneys are rotten and highly poisonous.
Have faced the issues twice.
Order #7D2A3 - On 19 dec 2020
Both red and white (peanut) chutney are rotten
Order #FBADB - On 22 dec 2020
Peanut (white) chutney is rotten
Please address this as priority as the rotten food cause serious health issues.
Food was fantastic, staff behaviour was extremely polite, we enjoyed sahe paneer and garlic roti that was too tasty, I will highly recommend to taste. I am happy with all services they provided
I ordered vegetarian biryani which had just potatoes in vegetables.
There was no cottage cheese at all which is an important ingredient of vegetarian biryani.
BEST veg biryani, most authentic and better than biryanis available in India.
If you are a biryani lover, rush to this place. I have been going to this place for last 9 years (to Melb Central and now at Bourke St, Docklands). I have always found the taste as good as ever. The young and energetic staff remembers you, your preferences and serves you accordingly. Their service makes you feel like a premium customer.
Be sure to call and check with them before going there, as often their biryani is so popular and they run out of it.
I am sure to go there again and again.
Good tasty food at reasonable price. Staff is quite helpful. During the peak hours may be bit of queue and wait. The tables are too close si not much of privacy but good for eating together with friends and colleagues.
My friend ordered Chicken Butter Masala from this store to be delivered and mentioned no spice in the order, but I don't think they understand English. The curry turned out to be very spicy for her.
They serve delicious food and the best part is that the taste and quality is consistent since my first visit (2014). Same people working which means they also treat their employees well.
If you are looking for tasty indian food in Melbourne City, this is the place to go. Staffs are friendly, there is enough space inside and outside the restaurant. Fully licensed bar and also buffet for large groups. There is road side parking available near by and tram stops are also close. Food is simply awesome.
Good spicy real Indian food always liked it. Happy hour advertised between 4 - 8 pm, but the shop did not open till 5 pm? Lost a star.price reasonable, good food.
Worst place for chilli chicken. I had ordered chilli chicken and they gave fried chicken with raw onion sprinkled on top and raw capsicum. Either change the chef or remove the it from menu.
Do not order from them online. Took 2 hours to complete my order and 1.5 hours the previous time. This time they accepted the order and didn't even start preparing it till the delivery rider showed up to collect it.
Dine in experience was good. Biriyani served hot with decent salna. Starters were fab tried dragon panner and chilli gobi, perfect spice levels but felt quantity was less for the price. Wad impressed with the biriyani and ordered a takeaway unfortunately it was not the same just had plain rice with some meat. Would recommend to dine in for better quality.
If you got a thing for Indian cuisine, definitely give this one a shot.
Ambience is nothing great.
Taste is very good which i think matters the most.
If you have a monstrous diet then beware, this place doesn't serve food with good quantity.
