Great food! Especially the PoDi Gobi, crispy corn (highly recommended), dragon paneer and yellow dal.

Plenty of seating, and quick service. Great place for drinks and spicy entrees, even with a big group.

Reasonably priced. Portions are quite decent (for example, a serving of rice and a serving of yellow dal is enough for two to three people, each entree can easily suffice 3 people).

Being vegetarian, I can only comment on the veggie items (and there are many). My colleagues loved the chicken and lamb items they ordered. Flavours are more from the southern part of India. Different from other Indian restaurants in Melbourne.

I have order goat dum biriyani via Uber eats but I have received chicken dum biriyani.then I have called the restaurant and they said we deliver your food on your place within 30 mins but I have got the food after 2 hours. Thank you so much guys for your negeligence.

The food that was served was extremely tasty and had a good portion size, compared to other restaurants. The taste was just like one would have in India. The taste wasn't altered to suit the western palate. Great food. Enjoyed immensely.

I love the mutton biryani here. And also enjoyed Heywards 5000 with colleagues. They all liked it.

I am surprised to see any bad reviews for this place. Whenever I come to Melbourne on business, I always make sure to have dinner here. The food is delicious—every time—and the service is always excellent.

Both Starters and mains are really great, dosa wasn’t satisfying. But overall best place for starters and mains. Best chicken dum Biryani, chilli chicken.

I have recently been to this place and I can say this is my absolute favorite restaurant in Melbourne. The food is fantastic and has the Authentic Indian flavour no matter what I order.

Tried this place due to a friends recommendation. Truly it was worth it. Heard great reviews about their biryani and indeed its fantastic. Loved their butter chicken and that curry with coconut forgot the name along with the malay rotis.

Best place to taste indian food as iam indian. Good taste, friendly staff. Always remembering chilli India name, when we want to eat indian food.

Today, on the occasion of our wedding anniversary, planned a friends catch up in Chilli India (docklands) - Food was awesome. Every item was fresh and serving was on digital clock. I truly appreciate the food and service. If you want tasty food, Chilli India docklands is the place.

We Celebrated my Daughters Birthday at Chilli India Docklands. All the guests enjoyed the food very much. Customer service was excellent and very special thanks to them to make our party very nice and beautiful. Especially Chicken Nilgiri curry, Podi Chicken and Biryani excellent in my menu.

I organised my son’s birthday at Chilli India Docklands. All the guests enjoyed the food very much. Customer service was good but there were times no one was refilling the food on time so as a result some of my guests were waiting for sometime for food to be refilled. So I had to keep an eye on it.

Otherwise food was delicious. Overall it was a success as they had plenty of space inside the restaurant.

Hochi

Placed order via deliveroo. Ordered chilli paneer but delivered chilli gobi, that was terrible. Half fried gobi with chilli powder spread over! We have been ordering from this restaurant and this time, it's the worst experience. If this is the quality then we would never order or recommend any friends. Waste of money.

One of the best South Indian Foods tasted till date. The food was amazing, specially Chettinad Chicken. Kudos to Chef Suraj (If im not wrong) what a taste man!

Expensive for the portion sizes. No tandoori breads, very greasy and oily rotis. Good taste but not exceptional enough to visit again.

The finest Hyderabad biryani over Melbourne, impressed by the taste and trust me you can't leave once yoh visit once

Nice place all the starters were good and they also got the kingfisher drought beer the biryani was pale not fresh other than that everything is good hD a super fun time here and the staff were also pretty amazing with the kind of service they have given us

Superb food for a vegetarian and my son loved the prawn dish. Eat inside or outside. Great authentic taste of India. Couldn't be happier
