Chesterfield Farm Community Garden reviews
77You wouldn't think there's a coffee shop in this farm overlooking such a picturesque.beautiful & truly nature's view.i've been caught and distracted about the issues at work where i should really be having a cuppa with my wife in this farm, at least once a week to loosen up and 'recharge. '
Visited Thursday afternoon, nice warm fire in the shop but freezing in the dining room. Little to no choice for cakes, no scones appeared to be set up for schools only. Be hard to go back.
Nice place but please invest a bit more for the comfort of those beautiful animals especially the dogs also please make sure that all animals including the little ones have water at all times, we seen rabbits sucking on their dry bottles of water it's sad. Considering the cost of the entry I would expect a bit more comfort for them and also some shade/shelter.
Fantastic farm. Great for toddlers and young kids. Cow milking - new to me and my kid. Can go into the pan with lambs and bunnies! Friendly staff. Relaxed and care free environment. Highly recommended!
110 % recommended go with your kids beautiful time for them too, friendly staff so dedicated, very nice experience, many activities
The worst customer service and the worst attitude from staff. Can’t even make coffee without death staring eachother. This is my second time I thought they would change but this people don’t know how to. Their bus ride is all over the place, can’t even stick to the time schedule. A lot of other farms do better job than this. Not recommending it to anyone. Will never take my kids to such a place!
Not happy with animal cage conditions. Very hot, very unclean, no water for dogs and not enough room.also it's some ducks were in very poor condition and left feeling quite concerned
Great place for kids and family so see, feed, pat and interact with some amazing animals so amazing.
Staff where good apart for one she was very rude and could of gone about it a different way,
My second time at this farm and it’s 5 stars again. We loved the dog show and the sheep shearing. The cow milking was really informative also. There are soooo many animals and things to see. We really enjoyed the experience. The staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions you have about the animals.
My only small suggestion would be for the girl who drives the tractor. She was lovely but spoke soooo fast about the animals on our tractor ride!
Fun farm animalmimteraction for kids.lot's of accessibility and well spread out with a variety of animals.
The tractor ride is nice however one doesn't see the far out animals much.usually better on foot.
The let down is the cafe.mostly understocked and with not so many options.
Good place for birthday parties however, that tends to impact the frequency of the tractor rides and that coukd get quite frustrating ti wait almost an hour with a lil one.
Nice little farm. Actually, this is the farm that has the most show/feeding activities that I had visited. Many other farms have just a tractor ride, that’s it.
The staff are always smiling. Very welcoming and friendly.
There’s a Camel, seldom see it at other farms.
There is an entry fee for children above 3 years old. My friend got a 2.5 years old son, they did not believed the parents and asked the age directly from the toddler, who did not even understood a word she said. It was very rude and the whole experience was ruined. If you are planning to visit, take the babies passport or birth certificate
Get up close with farm animals and see milking, sheepdog and shearing demonstrations. Have a picnic at the farm or grab a coffee from the coffee shop.
Took our son there on a friday and enjoyed our time. We went after lunch and it closes at 3pm on weekdays (5pm on weekends)
The lady was nice and gave us concession pricing, presumably cause it was later in the day and most activities were over.
It was really hot day tho so we didn't stay too long as our son is 13 months and was scared to be too close to most the animals haha.
We got to feed some deer and stuff so was fun still.
Try to come on not so hot day else harder to enjoy everything as most is outside
The Chesterfield farm is a beautiful place to visit with children. Their staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! The farm is well maintained and offering a number of activities such as milking the cows and tractor rides. Great experience for kids to touch and feel animals. There are also a number of nice and shady picnic areas where you can eat your BYO food or you can buy snacks, sausage rolls, pies and drinks from the shop where they also sell their own seasonal produce. We have enjoyed our visit very much and we will be back again soon.
Having a party here today. What a great fun. Lots of activities to get everyone entertained. Highly recommended
