Rudest pharmacists I have ever come across. I bet they complain customers are rude but she is farken rude and then gets annoyed when she has pissed you off and are rude back.

Why say you’re open at 8am on a Sunday when it actually opens at 10am. Waste of a trip to the store.

One of the only pharmacies that had a difficult to obtain medication as they had it in stock

Went in midweek to look for a very popular perfume that’s sold out everywhere. A team member there approached me and immediately knew the product I was looking for. She went to check in the system and told me to just come in the next day and she would have one for me. This is without me asking or suggesting for this. I said I could only go back in two days and she said it was fine and grabbed my name. Couple days later I worry when I don’t see her but approach the counter and ask a guy if by any chance he knew about this order. Gave him my name and there it was! I’m super appreciative of the lady going the extra mile to find this perfume which is now my favourite!

I wanted to return Omega 3 that purchased only three days before the return. The shop refused to refund because Omega 3 is a vitamin which is not allowed for return because they worry about how it has been stored (storage temperature) it for three days. It has been average 10 degree Celsius for the three days in Melbourne. Not sure Omega 3 is vitamin or an oil. Anyway it was very unpleasant experience. I’ve been shopping at this shop at least for the last 4 years. It will be my last time at this shop. I do not recommend this place at all.

I am absolutely disgusted with the service I DID NOT receive today.
I am new to the city, and my local chemist warehouse is open until 9pm, so i assumed this one would be the same, being in the city and all.
When I arrived at the store at 4: 57 the doors wouldn’t open, then someone was walking out I walked in.
I was greeted by an employee who told me the store was closed. That’s my fault, I shouldn’t have just assumed they would be open late and should have checked trading hours.
I explained to the worker that my script was on file at this chemist and I need my medication.
He said of course! Head straight up the back to Dispensary. He then announced to his co workers that he was letting me in to get my medicine.
When I got to the pharmacist, he told me he couldn’t do it until tomorrow. I explained that I need my medication tonight but he kept saying no and walked off before I could explain I start work at 7am.
I am absolutely disgusted in this service. I start work at 7am so will not be able to get my medication until tomorrow afternoon, so that means two days with no medication, which is extremely dangerous and a pharmacist should know this. I don’t care if it’s 4: 57 and you want to go home. You have a duty of care to your customers and you did not deliver it.
A doctor doesn’t walk out half way through an operation because his “shift is up”
I’m extremely disappointed, please do better.

Has to be the worst Chemist Warehouse store by far, has really gone down hill since relocating to 250 Sturt St. Regularly has no stock on shelves for consumable line items and minimal staffing to support Pharmacist, think it really hurts the brand.

I go a lot to the Chemist Warehouse and I am very happy with the store in Clarendon Street, Southbank. Yesterday I had to go to the shop in Elizabeth Street / Bourke street. Never seen a shop so chaotic. Lots of shelves were empty, boxes everywhere on the floor. I was told my prescription should b e ready in 10 minutes. Waiting in the area for 30 minutes. When I asked for it it took a while for the person to find it. I was told they called my name but I did not answer. So instead of asking again after 10 minutes they just left it somewhere, in the "too hard basket". Had to wait 10 minutes to pay.
Because I did not get everything I was looking for, I went today to my shop in Clarendon Street. What a difference. No boxes laying around, shelves full. A nice sales person asked me if I needed help and helped me in a very nice and polite way. They had what I was looking for and I did not have to wait to pay.
Guess where I go again.

No customer service. Staff are rude, you stand in front of the counter to pay and staff’s attitude makes you feel like you doing something wrong. Never visit again. Worst customer service experience

Pharmacist are extremely rude. Because “ I spend 5 years studying” doesn’t mean you can treat customers like that.

Wouldn't sign my stat declaration because they were 'too busy'. There was ONE person waiting for a script. I get it's not the pharmacist's priority because they're not getting paid, but this completely arbitrary 'I don't want to do it therefore I'll say I'm too busy' is frustrating. I ended up putting back the $120 worth of stuff I was going to buy, so they did lose business. I ended up going to the police station to get it signed and it took under 2 mins. Closer to 1 min. Which the pharmacist apparently couldn't spare in an almost-empty store.

Just went to new location to certify a document and the pharmacist said very rudely that he only does it Monday to Friday from 8am to 10am which is absolutely stupid as I have to work during this time, seems he just didn’t want to certify my document, never will come again to this chemist

Called the pharmacy line and asked if there's a regular (not 1300) number for the pharmacy department of online orders. They guy gave me a number.called it.it's literally just the phone number for the Southbank store but another dude picked up? Are they okay in the head?

Terrible customer service from the prescription pharmacy.

Try to use the app to get your scripts filled in advance? They will ignore it and have you wait half an hour while they flounder around. Try to pick up any script for the collection area? They will ignore you and pretend they don't see you for as long as humanly possible, even when there is literally no other customers there. Leave your prescription on file there? They will just straight up lose it and try to blame you for it.

It's actually rather scary people like this are working with medication.

Wanted to get the pharmacist to witness a signature for a document. During my wait, I watched 3 people ahead of me waited for their prescriptions for at least 30 minutes. And when I was informed that would be my wait time, the pharmacist continued on to sort out prescriptions for another 20 minutes. I finally did get my turn after a 1 HOUR wait to get 2 MINUTES with the pharmacist to witness a signature.

This chemist warehouse should be your last resort if seeking anything from the pharmacist.

This Chemist Warehouse used to be really good but is now pathetic. Doesn't seem to matter what time of day you go there, it is a 30 minute wait for a prescription. They usually only have one Pharmacist on who manages to distract herself all the time rather than give people their medication in a timely fashion

I've gone to more than ten chemist warehouse stroes in three states and the Southbank store is the only one giving me two rather bad experiences of buying prescriptions, esp.with one female indian pharmacist She was very impatient and cold when I was not clear about the app and escript. Altough I said 'thank you' to her, I was unhappy. Additionally, pharmists in other stores asked me if I'd like to keep my scripts on file, but here I had to request for that.

Today I rang chemist warehouse Southbank and tried to order two escripts that I have on my chemist warehouse app. The pharmacist told me that I needed to upload the scripts when they were already uploaded sitting right there on my app. She continued to tell me to upload the scripts and would not listen to me when I told her that the escripts were right there on the app. She would not fulfill the scripts and said that I needed to take screenshots of the scripts and send them which I did to prove my point. This pharmarcist was rude and arrogant.

It is most frustrating dealing with chemist warehouse in Southbank as this is not the first time I’ve had to deal with unhelpful and uninformed staff. When I was having difficulty with my app last week I went to the store and spoke to a pharmacist who pointed me to the front desk but when I went to the front desk they could not help me and told me to ring the helpline. The helpline has sent me back to the pharmacy! Chemist warehouse is sending me round in circles!

Pharmacists are not interested in helping you out. Asked for advice on probiotics and was given a rushed answer and brushed off.
South melbourne branch is much friendlier

My husband was called “rude” just because he is white and pharmacist is asian.

My husband politely informed pharmacist that he didn’t get a reminder SMS when his script was due.

He was told to show the email or QR code.

Husband said that he deleted it and explained in low tone voice “I was previously told that I will receive SMS prescription reminder and perhaps give us clear instructions regarding this so there’s no confusion”

This pharmacist with raised voice said “you are rude”, making people looked look at us.

My husband didn’t want to have a scene so we exited, if it weren’t for my husband wanting to exit I’d fought that pharmacist! How dare she!

Never going back to this grabby place.

-medication box given to you when paying is dirty.
-staff are so condescending
-staff have no customer service skills
-place itself is not inviting

I’d rather pay more elsewhere than being treated unfairly. Not surprised there’s increase in Asian hatred because of this atrocious attitude.

Does not deserve 1 star!
