I had a PAP smear scheduled and unfortunately, most doctors are full and this was the clinic that had a slot. It was the beginning of a nightmare and I would advise all to stay away from this clinic or at least the Iranian female doctor who I felt so disgusted to even mention her name here.

She was inexperienced and appeared to be flustered when doing the procedures. It seemed it was her first time doing the procedures and she had no idea what she was doing. I had to suffer unnecessary pain and discomfort due to her inexperience.

She was unconfident and told me perhaps I should come back another day to redo the procedures. When I first stepped into her clinic, she couldn't even speak properly. She gave the impression she was unsure and mumbled all the time.

She is not fit to see patients if she is unsure or cannot speak up. I felt so wronged and could only blame myself for choosing a silly doctor or intern who had no idea what she was doing.

Avoid at all costs. I am considering filing an official complaint. On a side note, the receptionist is professional and lovely to deal with.

Always super helpful and easy to get into. Dr Saieda is absolutely wonderful and so good with my little 1 year old boy.

Polite and very helpful reception staff. Doctors take their time to examine and look after you very well. Cannot fault the any of the doctors I have seen at Chelsea Arcade Medical.

Went to see the doctor, I explained to the doctor that I was here on holiday and that I am currently on Medical TRT and that I seem to have side affects from it, and that my medical doctor from my home country could not prescribe me medication as it would not be acceptable by the Australian medical departments and that I should go to the local doctors, and the first thing this bright racist doctor said was “way are you taking anabolic steroids” like i literally explained to him I am on medical TRT and I have all my information from my medical doctor. And that I was asking for his medical advice, needless to say he continued to accuse me as a steroid user and told me my story doesn’t match up.

I have listed a complaint with the Victorian Health Department and I have listed a complaint with the relevant authorities, I will also take matters legal should my condition worsen.

Usually my experience at Chelsea Arcade Medical has been pretty positive and I’ve had good doctors there. Unfortunately though I had to go to the doctors last minute and there was only one doctor available at the time so I had to go with him. The doctor I had was Dr Pranjal Deka. He was extremely abrupt, rude, disrespectful and very demeaning towards me. He basically didn’t greet me as i went into his office which I didn’t take much notice off and brushed it off at the time and wanted to get straight to the point as I was walking in. During his examination I explained my throat was very inflamed and if he could just be more careful because he was quite aggressive. He then very quickly explained how he can’t check for anything if he has to be careful and I need to do what he’s asking which I tried to do but I kept having to say look I am in a lot of pain right now and can’t barley open my mouth but he didn’t seem to want to understand. I also asked him if he could check my ears for any infection but he didn’t do so and quickly got me out of his office by giving me a script and kept explaining how he needed to have looked at my throat better and how I need to just let him do that even if I’m in pain. Overall my first and only experience with him was absolutely horrible and uncomfortable. I do not recommend ever going to him.

Nice clean modern clinic. The GP was very knowledgeable and very happy with his treatments. The receptionist was lovely and friendly too. The girl from dorivich doing pathology was very rude though!

My telehealth appointment at 12.20pm did not go ahead. I rang twice and was told that the application would go ahead and the doctor was running late. It is now 10 minutes before closing so it looks like I won't get my appointment. I needed a certificate for my job because I won't get paid without a certificate

Very disappointed in having to pay after years of coming here.having to find new doctor as as a family cannot afford it here

Appointments so far have been on target with very little waiting time. Dr Kaur is an excellent doctor. I feel well cared for and reassured.

Doctors and staff are accommodating, friendly and caring. They do what they can to assist in all circumstances

Doctor didn’t call on time but apart from that, excellent service and I got what I needed out of the Telehealth appointment.

Super kind receptionist found me an appointment on a Friday and I saw a great doctor. He was kind and professional. Very happy.

This practice used to serve the community well. Now, under the ICO Medical Group, the number of doctors, the opening days and hours are drastically reduced, and rarely match the hours advertised eg.no longer open on weekends or after BH on week days. There is generally a 3 to 4 week waitlist for appointments with the long-standing doctors. If the doctor orders tests, no results will be disclosed unless a new appointment is booked - this may be another 3-4 weeks. Virtually no same day or next day appointments for anything needing urgent attention.
Sad to share this review - this practice used to be an important and appreciated service in Chelsea.

I have been using this service for many years and have never had reason to complain. I find the people who work there friendly and helpful.

I was seen by the doctor promptly and reassured about my medical issue which is being further investigated

Great reception staff - always so friendly and patient. Most doctors are wonderful (had one bad experience but that Dr doesn't work there anymore) and helpful. Compared to some other clinics I've been to, the staff here is always welcoming and approachable.

I did not have a pleasant experience. The reception staff did not convey correct information to the telephonic enquiry which resulted in a fruitless trip to the centre with my baby.very disappointed and will never ever recommend.

I am giving this clinic the review it deserves. This paranoia about not seeing patients and examining their throat region is unscientific and unethical. As medical doctors you should be well aware that wearing an n95 fit tested face mask along with a face shield along with hand hygiene, is standard practice for examining patients airways in the current climate of covid etc etc.

An update regarding this clinic
Recently they have changed their operating hours and days
Which is very inconvenient for full time workers who can’t come in during the day.
They close 6pm weekdays and no longer weekends which I find so silly seeing it is a medical clinic
Huge changes should be made to accommodate patients not make it more difficult
