Cheese World reviews
57Pit stop along the way back to Melbourne city. There’s a museum on farm equipment adjacent to the store. Pity as they offer Nothing immersive as they don’t show how cheese are being made.
This place was amazing and the variety of cheeses was out of this world. Perfect tourist spot for the over seas traveler
Cheese tasting was great the cafe part was rather limited on food in afternoon so i wasnt impressed with that and person was a little rude
Was very excited when I saw that they did a cheesecake shake, something special the sign looked amazing. To my dismay it was not available as the only person that could make it was not there. If you cant do it don't advertise it on a sign on your counter
Much disappointment: (
Great selection of cheeses. Between the cheese shop and cafe it gets very crowded so beware! Cafe food is good but not great. Cheese tasting is amazing and lots to choose from.
I was amazed with so many varieties od cheese in the shop. Souvenirs are also available. They also offer free cheese tasting which is the best part. There is a small museum next to the shop where kids will enjoy and learn the old ways the people there lived.
Great milkshakes the best around the meals look good but the girls that work there are less than friendly especially the sour faced blonde behind the counter that rolls her eyes at customers been doing this for along time thought it have been better no idea why they keep her
Great variety of cheeses, wines, preserves, and spreads. The museum had a broad range - much more than just cheese. Cute cafe as well. A must visit.
Not much of a 'world' but absolutely love the products they sell. We regularly travel 3 hours to pick up our fave Joe's Food & Co honeycomb. Lovely staff and free tastings are always a plus!
The cheese shop has a large variety of cheeses, wines and other condiments whilst the attached restaurant has a good menu and is all reasonably priced a very interesting museum is attached. Well worth the stop for a quick and tasty bite
Very high priced items, liked the range.
Expected a demo instead watched a video.
Excellent customer service and most of the range was on offer to taste.
Very commercial, no tasting of the less commercial cheeses. Great retail with lots of local produce. Only complaint was when we ordered a cheese platter and were given the list of cheeses that we were under the impression we could choose from, this wasn't the case.we were told it was dependant on the cheeses that were open in the fridge.
Whilst my partner was going through the available cheeses we wanted on our platter, one of the staff members was quite loudly and rudely complaining about how we were actually being given a choice on our platter. Very rude and unprofessional on her part.
To the young lass who was serving us - thank you for your professionalism under difficult circumstances
Amazing staff and place. We ran out of fuel and they couldn't have been nicer. Fantastic place and people!
Great cheeses great staff they have a great selection of cheeses that in melbourne cost so much you can not afford them
Has them at geat prices and great flavours bacon, chilli, fench onion etc
Well worth a vist and is open 7 days
Slightly disappointing selection of cheeses to try, but the shop does sell a good variety of local and international produce
A nice little stop over on the great ocean road with some cool antiques and a store with locally sourced produce.
Cheese tasting was fun, thickshakes were delicious if a little ambiguous as to their flavour.
Big drawback is they only had one highchair, for such a large cafe this seems bizarre. Luckily it was late afternoon so the place was empty and the twins could roam without anyone (else).
It was nice to see the baby change room separate from the accessible toilet, and with a toilet of its own, but leaving chemicals in an under sink cupboard, with no lock, in a baby change room, just isn't acceptable.
