Fantastic range of quality meat, you will definitely taste the difference. Great neighbourhood Butcher, happy to give advice on which cut is best for a recipe or just some cooking tips. My go to for daily dinners and special events. Definitely make a trip.

Some nice cuts of meat but it's eye wateringly expensive. Crumbed lamb cutlets @ $60/kg? ! That's about $7.50 each! Yikes. Went to another local butcher who had them at $22 for 8.

Called today and then they gave me a loaf of sourdough bread from Highett for nothing. And this loaf smells sweet and looking forward to tomorrow lunch and bruschetta. Their meat also well butchered and fresh. Love Melbourne, THANK YOUXOX Char Char Char.

Amazing quality, friendly service, knowledge and help they provide is fantastic, very solid product range - chili oil lasted 2 days was so damn good and the orange and jalapeno rub is insane.

Simple things seem to be so difficult at times. I have been searching for a truly smoky bacon bone for years now, but its been alas and alack.

Today I reckon my search has ended with Char Char Char. Humble bones are the foundations of flavour, and from the smell of the stockpot these are excellent, as promised.

Chatting to the staff here I feel they truly ‘got me’ and I think anyone looking for real food, real flavour and real customer service will relax here. This is where it all is. Artisan mastery indeed.

I have already come out with heaps of inspiration along with my bones just from a 8 minute chat and look forward to being guided by Char’s knowledge up to the low and slow cuts!

I drive 45 minutes to this butcher (and would travel further) because of the friendly service and top quality products available. This is the best butcher shop around with the biggest range of low and slow cuts you will find in Melbourne!

This is the best butcher in the area by far. The porterhouse steaks are amazing and the sausages are great. This is an ethical butcher so don't walk in and ask for veal - I saw someone do that and the reaction was priceless. Open on Sunday's so you can get quality meat when you are firing up the BBQ.

Specializing in meats for slow BBQ (special cuts of pork ribs, brisket, etc) but you can get your normal meats here too. I'm especially hooked on the smoked ham, which they smoke themselves and slice to order. Great range of craft beers in the fridge too
