Chain of Fools

My partner and I have been coming here for over a year now and the owner and staff always go above and beyond. The food is superb and the coffee is by far the best in Melbourne (i don't even put sugar in it where I'd normally take 3! Its that good!) The atmosphere is so cozy, eclectic and friendly. I sent my hard to impress sister and even she was blown away. My favourite place to eat, relax, catch up I cant recommend Chain of Fools enough!

Great coffee, they make the almond milk on site. Chocolate & fig brownies are beautiful. Quick & friendly service as we were on our work lunch break.

Best veggie burger I've ever had, food is absolutely amazing and creative, and the coffee with homemade almond milk really hits the spot! Perfect place to work or enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch, staff are very friendly too. 100% recommend!

Delightfully “simple” dishes with a twist, very hospitable & kind staff in a rustic & homely cafe right opposite the beach.

This is my favourite cafe in Melbourne. I often go here to write whilst my husband walks the dog on the beach. The staff are always friendly, the Bollywood wall art is fantastic, the window stools that are modified movie g trolleys are a stroke of genius. The food has a twist - it is all a lot bit spicier or more flavoursome than the usual cafe fare. The fig brownies are to die for.

It's not a bad place. Limited food.spinach and fetta fillo.um not much spinach or fetta. Rather overpriced. Friend enjoyed muffin.chai tea bottomless cup.

Been here for the last 2 hours and still waiting on my the eggs Benedict and muffin. Contemmplating ordering uber eats to see what arrives faster

Fabulous ambiance, food, staff are hilarious, always up for a joke and a laugh. Beautiful view across to beach, a cosy nook to enjoy great coffee and beautifully presented food.

I went for lunch and was happy with my fresh squeezed juice although I know they added some water. I ordered filo spinach roll. It was not great as it wasn’t fresh and tasted very reheated. The side salad was lovely. I don’t think I’ll go back.

This is my second time back and honestly it’s the best. The sourdough bread accompanied with egg, maple bacon, and hollandaise sauce really hit the spot. The mixture of flavours and presentation are very unique.
Would highly recommend!

There are very few cafes that serve Western styled cuisines with a touch of Indian. And even fewer with a stone's throw from the beach! Good strong coffee with great food as well! Will definitely come back again.

Cold coffee. Too much milk. Too much froth. Disgusting Chai latte. Do not recommend. Sure the food is nice. Coffee horrible.
