48A local institution, great for kids and families. Lots of activities and events throughout the year.
Once if may favourite local places to wander. I little haven in the city. Such a great place, doing amazing things for the community - wonderful workshops, event and markets. Love the plant shops, cafes and shops too.
A great place to be. Market had a great community feel and vendors sold great products, 100x better than what Queen Vic Market is now. Plus you get gardenerie and a lot of nature. Grocery is great too.
“Non-profit”? Well, okay.a place that sells manure for $12.99 when u can buy the same stuff @bunnings for $5.99 is NOT non-profit. The organic fruit and veg shop was also either more expensive, or the same price as coles, so unfortunately it is not an escape from commercialism in any sense. It’s a nice place to sip a coffee though with the chickens nearby and some fresh air, I’ll give it that much.
A great centre for many ideas and projects all angled at the betterment of community. Enjoyed my time here in a great environment.
Awesome community vibe with cafes, greenery and country vibes. We need more places like this in Melbourne
Always love visiting CERES. You can learn alot about sustainability over a yummy lunch from the cafe.
