A big thankyou for all the help George of Centre Com gave me yesterday. I was so stressed at losing access to my hotmail account and the associated past emails. On a very busy Monday morning, George took the trouble to restoring them, giving me a great sense of relief.

This afternoon I went to install a NVME drive that came as a promotion just after xmas. In opening up the PC I found that the standoff screw/post for fixing the drive in place was stuck in the wrong spot, and I didn't have a spare. Called their local store to see if they had a spare, they found a part that would do the job.

Turned up and was handed the bit, I asked how much and they just said.no charge.

So good to have helpful people still in the local area and who care about their customers.

Excellent, fast and friendly service that solved my problem very quickly. Highly recommend George and his operation here.

I have recently had a couple of issues with my laptop. I took it to Centre Com in Elsternwick and on both occasions they solved my issues on the spot. Contrast this with my previous experience with the Clayton store where I had to stand in a queue for about an hour and my laptop was sent away for repair. On both occasions I was without my computer for over a week.
I couldn’t recommend the Elsternwick store highly enough.

Helpful staff with good pricing, usually have stuff in stock or just a day or two to be delivered to store. George has helped me a few times and always followed up on everything.

Called up to check stock levels, as that's what the website says to do.
The gentleman I spoke with seemed confused when I asked for a TRX40 motherboard, and when i gave him a specific model, he just said "Website says no stock" - he didn't check, he just looked on the website, if the website reflects what you have in stock, why does it say "Call for stock levels". I wanted on hold for 10 minutes, for him to not even bother to check.

And if you don't have a particular EOL model in stock, why still advertised it on your website?

Nothing but hassle from this whole chain.

These guys do a decent job. Their prices are reasonable, as are the opening hours. I'm only docking a star as I tried calling at 5: 20pm on a Friday afternoon to check stock (online stock indicator for the store says "call") and they never answered. Presumably they were too busy, but a message to that effect would have been appreciated.

Nice Chill staff that will make your day and not make things difficult. Make sure to call them or check stock 1 day before purchasing.

Would like to thank George who assisted us on Thursday 1st of July. George went beyond and above with empathy to help us with my son building his 1st computer, in assisting us he was able to correct the motherboard and then ring around to see which store had a cpu as we had travelled from far north east Victoria. With all this my son was able to finish his computer and now working. All the best Alexandra and Alistair.

I highly recommend CC Elsternwick. This is the second time that i have been to their store and their customer service and product knowledge have been outstanding. On this occasion I looked up their website for a particular product, called up the store, got Peter on the line, asked him various questions about similar products and the required interfaces (cables etc). Peter was very knowledgeable and provided me with everything that I needed, in one transaction. He made me an appointment for the next day that I could come in and collect the purchases, they were ready and waiting. Good customer service and fantastic product knowledge, I will return to this store for another purchase.

The first guy looked at my pci-e card and told me it was full pci and he couldn't help me. I came back a short time later and spoke to a much more helpful guy but id been stuffed around already.

I have been a long-standing client of this store. Previously customer service was excellent. Unfortunately the current staff at this store
are unfriendly and don’t respect client loyalty. Although George is great - when he is not present you really luck out. Today after being confronted by the animosity of the staff in store I literally walked out abandoned my purchase and went straight to JB Hi Fi where I received great customer service, bought the same products at cheaper prices. Sad to say farewell to Centre Com but this is a competitive market and customer service makes all the difference.

Used this store in Elsternwick for repairs, parts and accessories. Every time they have been very helpful and courteous even when busy. Always call back and honest about products and stock availability.

Small store with not a huge inventory but they are a part of a large chain of stores and they are very friendly and helpful. If you need it, they can get it.
